  1. tried one of the badger beers, not sure if it was golden champion or not, strong peach smell/taste, very wierd!!!
  2. Nice to see you're growing out of that lager stuff, ha, ha!! Asda's do a good selection of the smaller brewery ales but not sure the south coast ones travel up your way but Wadworth '6X', Ringwood 'Forty-Niner' along with Moorlands 'Old Speckled Hen' are worth a sup or three:duffer:
  3. most of mine are scattered around rooms at work - but then I've a wife and, more importantly, 2 kids the eldest of which:angel: has recently discovered that drawing on Dads things with wax crayons is a really good way of getting attention ............................. I do love her ............... honestly :helpsmilie:
  4. Had to do that with mine as they were to big, having said that it's a standard tt bumper - I just put it down to the fact the bumper had been off the car for a long time and 'sagged' a bit - happens to everything after a certain age!!!
  5. Difficult situation but, as you say it's a 'no-brainer'. I've attended more than one zed meet in the wifes green micra:blushing: It may be embarrassing but we've done over 50,000 miles with no major problems, including Pompey to Teeside on a regular basis(uses less gas for the round trip than the zed does one-way!!!) and I wouldn't call it crappy - certainly not in front of the wife anyway:slap: All the best, Steve
  6. About 5.15 today, only caught a couple of glimpses as I was stuck in traffic - silver zed with what looked like a black standard rear spoiler heading out of central Portsmouth and then into North End from Rudmore r/about. Not one I've seen before, another local zed???
  7. Fully agree, however, maybe they simply didn't trust Alonso and his 'red-mist' to get past Massa without taking one or both of them out, so this was the safer option for the 'team'!! Always has been team orders and, to some extent, I could understand the move if it was nearer the end of the season and Massa was out of the running, but this was disgusting - mind you, whilst I admire him, I wouldn't want to be in Rob Smedleys shoes at the moment!!!
  8. Hmmm, Southsea, 'student central' - should be relatively peaceful at the moment as most have gone home to mummy with 6 months of dirty laundry!! but they'll be back in September..................................
  9. Mines an import and I switched mine over without any problem, top mount fittings were all present just needed to drill panel for bolt - guess it might depend on age.
  10. Thanks for the reminder:oops: renewed via paypal as requested, Cheers, Steve
  11. I'll try to get a couple of shots done over the next day or two.
  12. Got my viper from Luke, although it was sent straight to the bodyshop so the first I saw of it was after it had been fitted - wouldn't say that the fitment was cr*p, but there is a definite gap where it joins the tailgate. I was told that it was "one of those things", but have always blamed the bodyshop rather than Luke. One other thing regarding the viper, I hadn't considered how much a 'mid-level' spoiler reduces (OK almost completely blocks) rear visibility and, despite it's looks, I probably wouldn't have bought it had I known. Cheers, Steve
  13. parked up along Anglesy Rd - couldn't see too much of it but didn't have a rear spoiler and appeared to have a silver '300' graphic on the bonnet.
  14. Wonder if it's the same one I saw on Winston Churchill Ave around mid-day, only caught a glimpse out of the window - I was working........honest guv:whistling:
  15. Ha, ha - no, it's a cycle path so it's OK although very narrow. Zed looks good although not sure that's a standard rear spoiler for an 'H-reg' and certainly different to the original that was on mine, although she's an import N/A manual. Maybe catch up at one of the meets, Cheers, Steve
  16. 2 in Portsmouth, a black and an orange, have to say that, whilst not a colour I'd choose, the orange one really catches the eye (even from a distance) whereas the black one blends in with the rest of the traffic - not something a zed does. Had a look at one at Goodwood and it's a seriously impressive piece of kit, especially for the price, but just didn't 'rock my boat' in the way other cars do.
  17. Hmmmm, interesting as mine failed for having belts and no rear seat - was fine when I removed belts but tester stated that had to have seat and belts or no seat or belts, couldn't have one without the other!! Was my normal tester, I've used him for more years than I care to think about and although a couple of years back I wouldn't have thought it'll change. Fingers crossed for you, Cheers, Steve
  18. sat in traffic at lights, going out of central Portsmouth, approx 5.15 pm today, heading past dockyard walls - I was cycling along the pavement and beat you to the lights:tongue: Looked tidy and not one of the usual ones around this way.
  19. Glad I'm on this side of the Solent:ohmy:
  20. was about to ask about the rear bumper but I guess that'll be covered by the same rules - Hmmmm, guess I'll be removing and re-fitting it outside the welders place:(
  21. Yeah, I know that feeling, ended up using a 'puller' on mine!!!
  22. 5.45 yesterday evening at Hilsea r/about, going into Portsmouth, silver - auto judging by the gear change - targa's off:thumbup: not one I've seen around here before.
  23. I'm out, Mum's birthday and I don't think a 300 meet is quite the treat she's expecting:biggrin: Have fun, hopefully I'll catch up with you all at some point this summer.
