Billing Pics - Mass Merge
I know Paul from Knightsbridge. He tells me that there 2 types. The only difference is the RAM pressure. £800 is the price for the kit he has. He also assures me that the kit is a bolt on unit, and you do not have to remove the wings. All as you need to do it shave the wing on the inside slightly, after you have removed your door. Paul knows that I can no longer remove my wings and has said that this kit is the one to go for. I have now seen a couple of different kits, the other one costing double. Be aware though, some kits are crap. Doors scrapping the wings or not closing correctly. With Pauls you will agree they are good quality.

Looks like she is going to Billing afterall
Andy I have no choice mate. I have repaired the fuc**r some many times its unreal. Was going to change it when the engine was out, but decided to take a chance. Its one of them, there is no such thing as an easy job with these lumps. I have already changed the matrix by taking out the dash. Your not telling me that replacing the harness is a bigger task R U  Now that Iam in such a good mood with this thing  . Iam knocking Billing on the head. There is always next year. I am going to start stripping out the old loom over the weekend. Just hope I can find a new one still

Looks like she is going to Billing afterall
FFS....AAArrrrhhhhhhhhhhh... Just driving round doing a few miles. Water started pissing out from behind the plenum. Had a look and to my supprise I found yet another pipe without a hose clip. Got a clip from a nearby garage and started remove the pipes and looms which were in the way. I replaced the clip with no problems (just burnt scolded hands) When I put it all back together pop pop pop pop pop @~# (were is No 6?) After wiggling and reseating all the connectors still missing on one. Found the cause to be the main ECU wiring harness near the battery. When I put pressure on it, it fires on all 6. Put down the bonnet, pulled away and as soon as it jolted then there it was again. Has anyone got a new loom or knows were I can get one in a hurry. (must be new otherwise this nightmare will never end)

Looks like she is going to Billing afterall
Up untill this morning, I decided that I was not going to take my lean green rice machine to Billing. Went to go to work and found that my 500bhp 406 had a flatty. Due to the complexity and huge cost involved in changing the wheel ;) . I have now decided to nurse my baby down on Saturday. Iam running her in, so 80mph with cruise should be safe enough. Is anyone else driving down Saturday from the North West??

For round light lovers

Would luv too more than anything matey. Iam not happy with its general condition atm. Iam over a year behind in the project, and there are many many more things I want to do to it. WW Kit, Respray, Bigger ICE, Major engine dressing, Interior. Untill iam happy with it I dont want to take it to any shows. Would just be all for nothing. If I new someone who had spent 2 years doing one up, I would expect it to be pure bling. See me point dear zack

Hi bud. Just got me motor running after 2 long years. Just running it in, well for the next week or so. I forgot how bad the std auto gear is on these things. If I cannot get used to it then I will fit the ALC to mine. Depending on how strong the box still is. I will indeed offer you first choice if I decide not to keep it. Regards

BIG THANKS 2 C&S Woods
C&S WOODS No1 Zed mechanics Just to say a BIG thanks to Phil at C&S Woods for once again putting the smile one my face .Up until last night I forgot all about that funny feeling you get inside. When you cruise down the road and every one stops and points at your machine. When I got home I was grinning like the Cheshire Cat. Phil has had a nice job of rectifying the mess left over by these clowns below. “CAS” Ellesmere Port “Baddies” :mac1: As most of you guys know. I have had my snot machine for getting on 2 1/2 years now. It spent 8 months in the paint shop, and recently 9 ½ months in “CAS” Ellesmere Port. With out going into too much detail “legality reasons” :x: , CAS have totally screwed up my engine. I picked it up last Wednesday to find it would not accelerate past 35-40mph. Popping n banging with clouds of smoke. After every excuses in the book and more. I finally had enough of my baby being mistreated and abused. I think the final straw was when I went to see Steve at CAS, Only to find to my horror that Steve was on a breakdown and a 15 Year old school kid was butchering my nice new Smithy fuel lines. He cut them up into little pieces and fitted them in different places. This along with my 4 ½ grand paintjob being scratched and badly chipped on both the door (looks like its been opened against a brick wall) and the wing were tools have been left there whilst the bonnet was closed. (guess what CAS say it was not them). I will right a full report about this once it has gone to court, I guarantee you will be horrified….. “C&S Woods” Bolton “Goodies”    After over 9 months of crap from the CAS clowns, I collected the car on Wednesday last week. ( CAS said it was all done) I managed somehow to get her to C&S Woods near Bolton, late that night (it took 2 hours to do 30 miles) .Phil there head Z technician started work on it Thursday morning. To my surprise, he called me at about 2.00pm that day to say that he had found loads of problems, but had rectified most of them. The engine sounded sweet and was not misfiring as much. I could not believe it, I only dropped it off the night before. I went to see Phil that day, also to listen to my babies heart beating. Indeed she sound sweet as a nut. There were still many problems left there by “CAS”. Phil systematically worked through them one by one. From Thursday up until Tuesday this week. As I said before some of the problems he cleverly discovered were kindly left for me by “CAS”. Phil discovered that I had a leak in one of the I/Cs. To my amazement he even changed it with my Strostek bumper in place. Iam telling you these guys are by far the most experienced and professional Z mechanics in the country. I collected the car last night with only a couple of compound faults still left on it. After all Phils hard work, there still appears to be a bad air leak from the plenum gasket As this can be very time consuming, We decided to leave it as it is and actually drive the car for the first time in a long long time. She drives strong but with a limited amount of boost (due to leak) . Once the engine is run in, I will return it to Phil for some further tuning and inspection. I should really take it back to "CAS" but after what I have recently learnt  . I would not trust them to paint an anvil. :mac1: “PLUG” A lot of you guys have already used C&S Woods, but for the minority who have not. I recommend them above anyone else. So what there near Manchester, but I promise you its worth the travelling. These guys prefer a quick turnaround, the way it should be. None of this huge waiting list and lame excuses we get from some of the other big contenders. If you require your Z to be repaired with the up most professionalism and speedy turn-around. There is no other choice. Contact Phil on 01942 892 568 let him know you now me, as I could try and sort you a discount. ;)

Lambo Doors on a Z? YES PLEASE!
Me too What sort of price for the kit, as there are several kits out there. Some you have to remove the wings and some you dont. The guy who owns the one in the pic is a buddy of mine, he says that a kit like that one will cost around £800

ICE Installs
You know all these motors at the shows have like a crazy mould in the boot containing the amps and subs at different angles. Forget totally bout the stock lines though. I want to have all my subs n amps not just sounding good but also ascetical pleasing. I fyou know what I mean. this is an eg: of what I dont want Personly I think it looks tacky. I want a PRO Install. Cannot seem to find a pic at the mo. All the electronics/wiring/tuning will be done by myself. Just need someone to make me a mould.

Electronic Water Pumps
Without trying to state the obvious. The pump adds extra load on the crank and the viscose fan well thats obvious, I already have a twin lecky fan to bolt on to the rad. removing the viscose will give me more room under the bonnet, quiet down the engine, reduce load, better response, better mpg. That why most other performance cars have lecky instead of viscose. Alot of the big power cars are using electric instead of mech.
-
ICE Installs
Has anyone fabricated a custom install in the boot using some type of mouldings. I have built mine using MDF but like the look of the moulded Install. There must be someone who has made a mould or someone who can offer the service. With the limited space it would be good to find a supplier or can resolve this issue.

Electronic Water Pumps
Has anyone got one fitted, if so how does it perform. Iam removing both the mech pump and the viscose fan, to gain an extra 200 brake. :) . I have a glossy with different spec pumps to choose from. So any feedback would be appreciated :duffer:
