  1. No not a safety boost problem, car would still start and run, more likely to be the PTS, check for a spark and the harness connecter on the PTS to see if its loose.
  2. mine has said that twice in the year ive had it, both the times its done it is when i havnt pointed it directly at the box
  3. nope sorry never heard of it
  4. yes you can run at 1 bar but for how long? As i said you will be up to the limits on old stock injectors, tubs etc, your better to run about 12 to 14psi max on stock, save a bit of stress on the engine.
  5. job waiting for you at Boyd Coddington i feel :D Brilliant stuff
  6. Well have a look at the wings on these babies, the Charger Daytona, that is 1 sexy bit of kit or the Plymouth superbird equally as sexy every time i look at these cars i get a peculiar feeling, right im off for a :xxx:
  7. what other mods have you done, i guess you have chipped the ECU as well? If you are trying to run at 1 bar with stock tubs, injectors, intercoolers then you will be pushing the stock items to the limit.
  8. If its only reving to 2500 that would indicate the MAF has had it, but as your only running on 2 cylinders that wouldnt help. As your only firing on 2 then that would be the PTU or harness, but i guess you've tried those? You have put all the leads in right firing order? simple mistake to make
  9. Well look at it this way, I'm not saying this is the problem but it def worth looking into. Your loosing power when you have throttle wide open. The Fuel pressure regulator's job is to maintain a constant fuel pressure in the fuel rail and across the injectors. The Fuel Damper smooths out fluctuations in pressure in the fuel rail caused by the injectors pulsating so ensures accurate fuel metering. If either of these isnt working correctly you wont get the correct fuel delivery.
  10. if you got it for that price it would be
  11. Fuel pressure regulator has a valve in it, the valve can intermitantly stick so juice gets pumped back to the tank and shutting off fuel supply to injectors, cheaper option to try first
  12. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/300ZX-ENGINE-MODIFIED-FORGED-PISTONS_W0QQitemZ180153671493QQihZ008QQcategoryZ72205QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem no mention of tub upgrade though, shame looked a nice looking car. Is it anyone on here?
  13. or ignorant, same when you give advice you dont get a thanks sometimes
  14. you dont need docs to apply for it on line but as they have written to you about it then i guess they prob put a block on your motor being taxed? More bureaucratic red tape b0ll0x this c untry throws at us ffs, just another way to try getting all the old cars off the road, all new regs we are told to have by a country that didnt exsist 200 years ago, our govenment dont run this country anymore they do :xxx:'s Sorry Al went into one, would piss me off too, maybe try and get it on line you never know

  17. no it makes it better :D
  18. Personally i would of bought a bottle of fluid and put it in to see if or where it is leaking from before doing anything drastic, as said above may be a simple fix
  19. before you spend out on a new pump try the fuel pressure regulater and damper as i suggested in the list i put up of possible causes
  20. I wonder if they go out for an English over there? If not start an English restaurant or cafe up, bet a greasy all day breakfast will go down a storm?
  21. Its not really a rehearsed answer is it.
  22. You could get the arches rolled and have a slight flair rolled into the arches, that should stop any rubbing. But may need to repair paint work after
