I think Nissan made an awesome car for the time, it was far advanced compaired to the cars around in its day, unless you compair it to the ferrari or lambo's but for an affordable performance car it was awesome. Agreed there is some things Nissan done that could of been designed better, but remember it's a car designed around an engine. We change or modify the cars now because we can, the mods we put on now like body kits, tune up bits etc didnt exsist when the car was new, hence why Nissan went through different series of the car, the car was an on going evolving project with Nissan up to the point where it virtually destroyed its self here in the UK.

They are all the same non of them are in it for the good of us or the country, its a job just like the rest of us have. I dont go to work for the love of driving trains i go to work to earn a living, which is what they are doing except they are in the position to exploit it for their own means. why dont you do what i did? I just changed the steering knuckle that had a good bearing in it, couple hrs job and problem solved ;)

Dosnt look right to me as the the wheel hub (where the wheel studs go through)on the z32 has a shaft attatched to it which passes through the bearing which is pressed into the steering knuckle. On the end of the hub shaft is a notch that the ABS senser (toothed ring) which has an elongated whole that fits on to, and a nut that holds it in place at the end of the shaft. As you can see in that bearing you mentioned the hub has no shaft, and the ABS senser ring has no elongated hole.

it gives some heat protection and noise insolation, although i have seen some cars without it fitted

if the ecu has gone into safety mode ie code 34 it retards the timing and alters the fuel mapping so you wont get the correct amount of fuel delivery as you would with code 55 (no faults) locate the det senser conector at the rear of the engine and clean it from any of the dreaded green shit

thats not a problem my last zed never had the belt for the air con on either mainly due to the pump being seized, heater blower still worked, check your fuses or could be switch or blower gone

means your car is in safety boost mate 7psi, and you wont get full boost 9.5psi usually happen if senser senses detination, in laymens terms pinking or as Andy said det senser or harness fooked. Not an easy job to replace but can be by passed by using a 100ohm resister ;)
