  2. The dog in Turner and Hooch is a Dogue de Bordeaux the french mastiff. I had an English Mastiff now that was a fookin huge dog but gentle as fook the Bull Mastiff little bit more a hand full tho. What you want is a French Bulldog lol see this little bloke even matches the car, you could call it half a stella
  3. important thing is you have seen the light, hallelujah Brother

  7. you gotta get down to the Dick Turpin first bud
  8. Are you saying the light dont come on at all or comes on but dont flash? Did you short between the ign and chk pins? The methord you used isnt the safest way to check for error codes incase you short the wrong pins out, its a bit longer doing it through the ECU but safer. Try doing it through the ecu under the passenger floor click see if that makes a difference. You might have just blown the bulb on the dash light if it dont come on at all
  9. Its possible it could be the PTU, is the car a series1? The PTU's on series 1 cars are prone to playing up, a series2 PTU is more reliable if you can get hold of one all the better. First of all do an ECU check, see if any codes come up. If that shows no faults take the connectors off both sides of the PTU and give them a good clean of any of the green shite that plays havoc with the connectors, see if that helps. If still no joy try the CAS take it out and give it a spin, there is plenty of posts about this, if you hear clicking then you know the injectors are working, so more than likely fault on ignition side. Good luck
  10. what fuel have you put in it? It may sound stupid but bad fuel or a different grade of fuel can make these cars play up. Another thing is re setting the ecu if you havnt already tried it, dissconect the battery over night and put some decent high octain fuel in
  11. Maybe the T.V show will be the news at 10  200 zeds bombing down the motorway at 150mph, they cant catch us all
  12. Have you checked the EGR? A build-up of carbon can cause a vacuum leak to the EGR Valve. There should be NO EGR at idle. Or Check the PCV Valves are working by placing your finger over the opening (with engine running). You should feel vacuum on your finger and when released the valve should snap shut. If you can hear a hiss then it might be blocked or need to be replaced. Also, remove the valve from the tube an shake it. It should rattle like there is a loose marble inside. If it doesn't rattle, its blocked, replace them or clean them out. A clogged cat can cause idle problems too. Also the MAF sensor can get contaminated but not enough to set off a fault code, try and borrow one to try. Also cleaning the ECU temp sender can cure rough idle, thats what i found wrong with mine when it idled rough.

  20. One in five tickets are invalid Fight Back On Fines Updated: 10/04/2007 14:49:31 It's official - if you drive away before a traffic warden puts a ticket on your windscreen, you do not have to pay the fine. With one in five parking tickets invalid, there are a number of other ways you can fight unfair penalties handed out by over-zealous parking wardens. Invalid road markings Do the road markings where you have been issued with a ticket comply with the law? A string of motorists have appealed against fines issued when markings were faulty. Examples include incomplete yellow lines after road works. Date of ticket All tickets must show both the date of your offence and the date the ticket was issued. Hundreds of motorists have won refunds against sloppy traffic wardens who failed to include this extra detail. Clamped or towed If you appeal to your council against an incident in which your car was clamped or towed away, parking bosses must respond to your appeal within 56 days. If they fail to do so, they have no power to enforce the fine. Wrong registration Make sure you carefully examine the tiniest of details of every penalty charge you receive. If a warden fails to accurately note your registration their bosses will have no method of tracing you. Wrong street If a parking ticket wrongly notes the name of your street which you parked 'illegally', the penalty charge is invalid and you can appeal. You are not guilty of the offence stated. Double yellow lines There is no regulation preventing motorists parking on double yellow lines to load or unload their vehicle. The only exception is if the yellow lines are accompanied by yellow markings painted on the kerb too. Wardens have no right to issue an instant ticket on ordinary double yellow lines if you are legitimately loading your car. Legal technicalities Every penalty charge notice must state that it is a penalty issued under the Road Traffic Act somewhere on the ticket. Fast facts — More than eight million tickets were issued in 2005, one for every three cars — In London more than five million tickets were issued. Westminster Council raised £65 million from parking — Nationally, motorists paid out more than £1.2 billion in parking fines — As many as one in five tickets may be issued invalidly — Fewer than 0.5 per cent are referred to the parking adjudicator – yet two thirds of appeals are successful
