yes i agree these are on offer if we can get a group buy of 30ppl. I dont think they are expensive at that price cant understand why we cant get enough ppl they really bring the inside up to date and look good too

white stuff around oil cap, like a cream? thats usually what happends when water gets in the oil, check the oil to see if it gone white or level has risen. if it has im affraid water has got in your engine then a bent rod is more than lickely

Hmmm thats what i was thinking, was hopeing to illiminate it with more info. check all electrical connections, clean and dry em out. But does sound like internal damage if it increases with engine speed. water dont compress so something gotta give

where abouts is the knocking/rattling coming from can you pin point it to any spercific part of the engine? Is it all the time or just when you accelarate? Does the car still perform properly?

First of all what makes you think your tubs are on their way outwhat symptems have you got? Is the car De-catted and smoking? Is the car running on safety boost?

thats ok if you can afford couple of grand to buy em and have them fitted then have it chipped and boost controller fitted you wont get much change from 3k+ i bet? I think joely p is looking for bit more boost without to many frills replace with stock tubs chip and boost controller lot less money for same effect that stock engine will allow, unless he goes for mig tips (not good imo) get it done properly could save a lot of money in the long run

You are proberbly right in what you say i was thinking in terms of how much boost he is wanting to achieve as stock units will start to max out at around 1 bar he will still need ecu and chip up grade as stock chip will only let the t28's produce 9psi? hence it would be cheeper to buy good second hand standard tubs and boost controller with chip then everything else ie intercoolers, injectors can stay stock just a minor up grade in boost to around 14psi. Maybe im wrong?

There's more to it than putting bigger tubs on to get bit more boost, you will need to up grade ecu bigger intercoolers, injectors etc. If you only want a mild higher boost level and keep engine standard it would be cheaper to replace with standard tubs a good chip and boost controller so you can adjust your boost level, stock tubs are good for up to 13psi-1bar max to be safe, thats ample

Hi viniboy i had an s13 before going for the zed, imo they are excellent cars if you can find one that aint been thrashed. I had mine for about 2 years and all i had to replace was the starter motor. Great fun to drive much better drive ability than the zed i think due to light weight and nippyness even in standard form they are quick good choice for your son he will love it, plus he can have the dump valve woosh. They look good too, my mates got mine and he loves it too, wont give it back
