  1. Yeah I dont think they will be a problem, they will look massive under 17s :) They do look like they need a clean though! Should fit with my 10mm spacers on. If I changed them for some 15mm ones would I be risking breaking the studs? Do the ones you have fitted have thier own studs in?
  2. Nice one, the spokes on my wheels come outward and have a fair bit of room under them. I'm running 10mm spacers at the moment to correct the offset and could probably do with changing them for 15mm.
  3. OK sounds like the best option. Would that include the brakets so all I need to get is the bolts? Would be interested to see if they fit under your 17s
  4. ahh crap had'nt seen the per disk small print!
  5. Yeah thats what I was thinking, cheap too at £125
  6. Right I see, the bore on the 300 is 68 EBC are doing some good deals on gtr brakes from the looks of it, need to find out what the bore is on them http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/parts_disc.asp?from=search&part=disc&make=NISSAN&model=Skyline&year=GT+R32+V%2DSpec+2%2E6+Twin+Turbo+%2893%2D94%29#
  7. Ok I see, how does the spacer ring force them to be centered?
  8. I thought the bmws were 120x5 pcd hence the need to get them drilled?
  9. I take it the disk are plain? Also have they been drilled to 114.3? Edit, just read they are dimpled. Might drill them through :) I take it they have been drilled to 114.3 though?
  10. My wheels are 17's but they are modern rota boosts and there is plenty of room under them, dont think it would be a problem but would be good to check. Also they do probably need spacing out by another 5mm anyway.
  11. Might be just not sure if they would fit under my wheels
  12. My wheels are 17's but they are modern rota boosts and there is plenty of room under them, dont think it would be a problem but would be good to check.
  13. Just piched this off a site for reference 3.0 TURBO COUPE (Z32-VG30DETT) 91-96 V.DISC 280mm 30mm thickness 54 Height 68 Bore 5 Stud Vented
  14. They do look good, what size wheels are they? Well I'm still on the hunt. I think lexus ls430s have 315mm disks and they are 114.3 Now i'm wondering if they would fit?
  15. I have 280mm drilled brembos on at the mo, but my pads are about dead I still think they look ace tho, the dimpled ones just dont look right imo I see mercs etc with them on all the time
  16. Boo I would have had em lol Yeah im thinking get a dimpled set and drill them through? Grooved and fully drilled would look sweet
  17. What have you done with yours? I would want some drilled disks as I think they look much better than grooved and only half drilled. Could I buy the dimpled disks then drill them right through? 315mm 114.3 x5 rotas should be easy enough to find?
  18. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-315mm-Big-Brake-Kit-S13-S14-200sx-300zx-200-sx_W0QQitemZ190244500314 I was just about to ask him if he would supply the kit without the rotas as I'll buy my own. Has anyone bought from him before or can supply the same conversion kit? 315mm 114.3 x5 rotas should be easy enough to find so I'd want to shop around a bit.
  19. Hmm yeah but if its just going up by 200rpm when the blowers are on and goes down again as soon as you turn them off then its deffinatly by design.
  20. I'm with roadrunner trade. £730 this year Last year I had my z, supra and a vectra sri on it! I can have any car but I have to own it or be under control of it for trade reasons. They dont do glass cover tho! Or no claims.
  21. I think the rb25 engine might use the same maf but the 200sx doesnt, not stock anyway but you can upgrade them to use the z32 maf.
  22. Yep mine works fine, its doesnt effect anything else. Idle control valve at the back of the plenium on the battery side (RHD). There is a yellow plug on the top (this controls the idle) On the body of the idle valve - the unit screws into the side of it pointing towards the centre of the car with a grey plug. Just unplug it. Then your idle wont go up by 200rpm when the climate control is on (heater or aircon) This was fine for me as I have no aircon or aircon pump. Nissan added this system to allow the engine to cope with the load of the aircon pump running at idle. I'd only really recommend this if you have removed or disconnected the aircon.
  23. Just take the grey plug of the FICD valve, thats what bumps up the revs when the climate control is on. I dont have air con any more so dont need any more revs to drive the compressor etc. Fixed
  24. Just changed my windscreen My old tax disc holder was one of them metal ones with allen bolts in it I dont wana put it on my new screen as its pants! I remember that when I got my club pack it had a 300zx.co.uk holder in it. It was one of the £1 ones with the logo printed on it but still quite nice. Before I go and buy a £1 one from the shop has anyone got one of the club ones lying about?
  25. depending on the tyre size yeah
