  4. Ok,just got back from a mates house,he has this problem, turn on pc,it gets to the windows load up screen, then goes blue, been in the Bios ,cant find anything untoward etc, error message reads, Unmountable_Boot_Volume Technical Info Stop:0x000000ED(0X817A9E30,0XC000032,0X00000000,0X00000000) have tried changing monitor, maybe its a graphic card prob,or HHD gone bad,any help appreciated, cheers,Tony :(
  5. To be honest i am not much in favour of the aircon on a Z,couple years back sitting in traffic on a very hot day Z water temp gets way hot,was worried to say least, turnend off air con and the temp went down to a less worrying level, since then no confidence, and every summer we get stories on here of "my temp gauge just went off scale",and i have met a few at meets etc that have had same as me,on a number of times the aircon was on,in fact i tried a test with my last Z,i used Red Line water wetter and the temp still went up with air con on while in traffic,so that was the nail in the coffin for it,i would rather have peace of mind with it removed, more air flow to the rad, less for the crank pully to move, not saying everyone has this trouble of course,as we all know that two Zs are never the same and one will perform ok another not. Tony :)

  16. Ok agree in part, may seem to some like its boring but some good info has been posted, and i find it interesting to be honest,it all helps as they say, good clean wholesome debate on most parts, have been reading up on a few things, one being this, most on here drive there Z like it was meant for,ie WOT if given half the chance :D ,so we are looking that we need that extra bit of protection, especialy as these engines do get bloody well hot,all the big players like Millers,Castrol,Shell, recomend if car spec requires 10/40 then to use a 10/60 or a 15/60 for fast road,or rally/race,especialy if running turbos,Mobil recomend Mobil1 15/50 for same conditions, one other thing, all these oils are recomended for track days too,so if say your running a 10/40 best to change to a 10/60 otherwise after 8 or so laps the 10/40 is boiling ie thermal break down,a 10/60 gives better film strength to withstand thermal break down at ultra high engine temperatures. So,in conclusion i feel happy to use a 10/50 or a 10/60 so in the event of my Z deciding to get to hot i will have more/better protection, especialy in my tub bearings. Tony :) Hope that bored you all :D
  17. Redline MT90,is recomended by them if running high power performance cars, they state"especialy for Nissan and Mitsubishi in line gearbox's,for competition or road use" Tony :)
  18. I use either Castrol 10/60,Millers 10/60,or Shell Helix Ultra 10/60,and just as a foot note they all metion/recomend their oils for turbo cars due to amount of heat generated ,stick with any of the above IMO, Tony :)
  19. Nimble fingers when undoing the air con compressor, drove me nuts, was the bolt farthest back, with the rad, well thats not to bad,but had a couple low down bolts hard to do,so best thing there is to be force full,ie push the thing as far forward towards engine then cut out/off where its fixed,or if your very strong minded just pull the thing out,i then cut back pipe work as far as possible towards bulk head, that bit was easy, its all ally, used wire snips on some of it,same with cutting rad out too. :) Tony
  20. ,strange ,you could be right, cos last twelve months me been tea total too, :D
  21. 5% say no more
