M1
Hi Just to answer my own question :headvswal Here is an extract from http://www.hertsdirect.org/roadtrans/rsu/driving/safetycameras/ Enforcement through the M1 widening roadworks The 40mph limit through the M1 widening roadworks from Junction 10 to 6A, due to start on 20 March 2006, will be enforced by SPECS or time over distance cameras. Cameras mounted on overhead gantries will photograph cars on entry to the roadworks and measure how long they take to travel to the end gantry - if this indicates too high a speed, a ticket will be automatically generated. I hope this helps others

Speed Camera Detection
Ok forget for a minute that you are a salesman and therefore want to sell me the most expensive...... Tell me what you think is the best. I don't want satnav, just speed camera detection. Fixed/mobile and anything else that can try.

M1
You are joking right? I went there and back yesterday and didn't see an thing. There might be a couple of letters coming thought the post to me then.

Hi What does these look like? I've have been on there a few times and haven't seen anything.

M1
Hi There are roadworks on the M1 between the Junction with the M25 and J10 or so. The speed limit is 40mph, but there are no speed cameras. Somebody said to me that they time you over a set distance and if you average is higher that 40mph then you get a ticket. I think I am getting my leg pulled, but with no cameras it does make me think. Any thoughts

Speed Camera Detection
Hi I think SatNav is rubbish, I know where I am going, I don't need an anoying voice telling me to 'stay right' becuase there is a junction off the motorway that she doesn't want me to take. :headvswal Sorry.......... :x:

Help, Help, Help
Hi All Well I test drove the car. It was a Fairlady twin turbo automatic TT, she is beautiful. There are a couple of things that I wanted to ask you guys though. 1) There is a crack in the bottom skirt at the front. How much would a new one cost? It was silver like the car of course. 2) There is a ping ping noise when I drove it above ummmm 50mph I think it was. What is thata all about? 3) How much does a service cost? It had about 100,000km on the clock. 4) The brakes are very very hard. Comparied to my slow 1.5i Automatic Honda Civic. it has been sat on his drive for a while so will this be the problem or is it just a case of getting used to a different car? I almost crashed it into the car in front at the first junction as I couldn't stop it. 5) It has been parked on the side of his drive next to a bush. The bush has dis-coloured a small section of the side. I'm assuming that this can just be removed with T-Cut? Oh and he wants somewhere near £3000. MOT until September and no Tax. Thanks for all the help.
