Hi All I appear to be getting air coming though the vent by the interior lights above my head. Is this an air vent? It's driving me wild, with it's buzzing noise. Spencer

Hi Guys I started a tread about this before, but I have more information now. My speedo doesn't tell me the correct speed I'm travelling, so I borrowed my mates SatNav yesterday and can confirm the following...... My Speedo is 10mph out, so when my speedo shows 30mph I'm actually doing 40pmh and when my speedo shows 50mph I'm doing 60mph etc. So does this just mean that the needle was put on in the wrong place? It's a Jap import with new dial. If this is the case then I just need to move it round right? Sounds easy, but there is a pin sticking out from the face of the dial which stops the needle falling down. So if I remove the needle isn't the crank going to move to some other position anyway? Oh and how do I get to the needle. Thanks in advance Spencer

Hi Guys I'm sure when I bought my car a few weeks ago there was a buzzer that sounded when I opened the door after leaving the lights on. I've had the ding, ding 60mph bell disconnected and now the lights on buzzer doesn't work. Am I imagining that I had a buzzer for the lights or are the two connected. Spencer

Hi All It would appear that I need a new Speedo as mine isn't giving the correct read out and it only goes up to 100mph. So the options are:- a) New standard speedo £100 + £40 to fix or b) New non standard speedo. Anybody got a picture of a standard (1989 G reg Jap Twin Turbo) or can recommend any non standard speedos? Hi All Yeah I know what you are think...'oh not him again', but I am new and need your help. I saw a guy at Bolney Bridge who had bags for his tiger tops. Are they standard or did he make them. If they are standard, where can I get some from? Secondly, my manual says that you can get a rear parcel shelf. Yeah I know it is soft material like a roller blind, but does anyone know where I can get one from. Oh and lastly, the manual also says that you can get blinds for the tiger tops. Hi Guys I picked up my Z (300ZX fairlady) yesterday. She’s beautiful. Pictures to come. There are a few small things I want to ask though. 1) The most important thing is that the speedo isn’t right. When my speedo shows 40mph I’m actually going about 50mph and it get worse as I go up in speed. As it was an import I’m guessing that it was in Km, but the dial now shows mph with km on the inside. Do you think this has anything to do with it? 2) I can’t get cruise control to work above 55ish mph. But given the problem in 1) I’m probable driving at about 70mph. 3) After a very long run, there appeared to be a leak from the very front on the right hand side. When I opened the bonnet I couldn’t see anything, but I did notice that the aircon is on this side. Is it just that leaking? Bearing in mind that I didn’t have the aircon on during the drive.
