  1. On the sxoc they are meant to be the best pad for track work and still leaving discs useable, I wouldn't worry!
  2. It all depends how much you paid for them and how well they brake and what you are using them for, and your opinion doesn't really count if you have not used any other pad to compare them against?
  3. Have heard porterfields recommended for the rear, but too noisy and dusty up front!
  4. Just wondering why people are still buying others, unless they are on a budget?
  5. No duty btw for a certain amount of veggie oil used, can't remeber exact amount!
  6. Have heard the older pre2000 cars run better on this, also a bosch pump is a must apparently!
  7. I don't have the monopoly on doing this, if anyone else wants to have a go then feel free, it really isn't that complicated! I have the kit ready to fit but unfortunately due to circumstance have not been able to fit it and haven't got a date in the future asto when I can have a go!
  8. ANyone know what bodykit that is, or is it a one off?
  9. Just out of interest why have you only ordered a couple of pcv hoses and you should not order the bearings until the engine is apart?
  10. Sorry hope I haven't caused the confusion, here is a spec list of something prebuilt http://importpartspro.com/stvgloblni30.html
  11. Don't assume anything, putting in new freeze plugs does not mean he will clear the water channels as in the rest of the list I supplied.
  12. If you are paying to get them checked it is not really any extra cost to get them reconned, this refers to the injectors. The extra flashing is in the block, the freeze plugs have to be removed and then they are filed away! This refers to the water channels

  14. Actually prefer the honda with those lights!
  15. Order the egr bypass kit, Delete the prvr system Delete the aiv's, Plenum bypass on cooling for the turbos Clear out the rear water channels on the block Get the block checked to see if it is straight and get it skimmed Skim the heads Maybe new oil pump Think about the 120k cambelt kit Think about getting the injectors reconned as this maybe why the pistons went west in the first place. Also the clutch may be on it's last legs or soon could be with new power levels of your rebuilt engine while it is out it may be worth replacing?
  16. Fantastic, has to be one of if not the best zed projects in the UK apart from mine of course :D
  17. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_16&products_id=2913&osCsid=2402a3b2eceaaf0a4076ab2bb93966a0 These are probably the most economically viable option.
  18. Thanks I have other means of displaying speed etc, so that legal side is not a problem :)
  19. Not sure I would bother rebuilding the turbos, if you cock it up then the money you saved will be thrown away with the cost of pulling the engine again!
  20. Get the block and heads resurfaced and just use normal head gaskets!
