  1. Hi, I have heard that a company like Jun or greddy make one, does anybody know?
  2. Hi, I believe the japanese EGT sender probes all have the same diameter and thread and I wondered if anybody knew these specifications?
  3. I thought there was some controversy over the legality of decatting the downpipes since the cars weren't listed on the official paraphenalia? Has that been resolved yet?
  4. Probably a boost upgrade, done cheaply with welding tips, this can cause spikes in the boost though, it is done more reliably with a boost controller! Combined with a JWT chip this will help fuel the car correctly for the boost upgrade! Make sure you have serviced the car properly though as upgrades have a tendency to reveal any weak points! You are maybe getting to close to needing an upgraded clutch, with these mods but there is only one way to find out!! Good Luck

I can see that you have access to a lot of facilities to do this work to your Z, but if you talk to most people on here I think they would say that saving £40 on plugs would be a false economy! The potential negatives from getting the wrong plugs are in the worst case scenario, an engine rebuild which I see you have had done! Boosting your sotck turbos to beyond 15psi, severley limits the life of the turbo and pressures above 15 do not give any great gain in performance due to too much heat and turbulence! To someone in your position a turbo rebuild would be easy, but to the many people on here it could be financially and mechanically beyond them!

Why spend out £30 for 5 litres of Mobil1, Use Mazola1 for £1.89 for 10 litres from Tescos, we all know its the same stuff! And with the £28.11 you have saved, you can buy half a tank of petrol, or a full tank of lighter fluid, the same stuff again!

I am more interested in how you got to 420+bhp for £200?
  8. Weren't they around 3-350 each, that seems to be the average price for these sort of wheels!
  9. Visited Elite wheels today and they were as useful as a chocolate teapot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the guy said was, the amount of wheels available for Z's in that size was limited, as if I didn't know that! So which make and model of wheels are available for the Z in 10x18 ? I did like a wheel that sounds like a German Porn Star, Leon Hardiritt, Bugle, LOL, but I didn't like the price!!!!
  10. Love is in the air!!!!!!
  11. Hello Vijay, He does that with everyone mate, I think he has had a few things on of late, but also I think he is inundated with phone calls to work on Z's and probably can't get back to everyone who calls!
  12. Sounds like it might be the engine and g/box mounts!
  13. Hello Mate, Good to hear from you again!! I think they are in the 1k for the pair bracket, but you would have to talk to Smithy to get a firm price! And whether he is still doing them? There are a few places that will do the work I personally use Darren in kent he's reasonable and won Nissan mechanic of the year two years running! The only trouble is he busy working on a TT conversion project some crazy but good looking guy has asked him to help out on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Duffman is good as well!!!!!
  14. Going up in Price you have Smithys Turbo Dynamics Stage II's most reasonable and good option! Turbo Technics Stage II's a bit more expensive! Then Garrett GT25's an excellent turbo lots of boost and easy spool up! £1800ish PE 1420, about 2K for the complete kit! And you can just keep going up and up!!!! With some of the latter turbos to make them work optimally you should have 550 injectors, dual intakes and the appropriate chip, intercoolers etc Mark
  15. Hello Mate, depends on your budget and how much horsepower you want to achieve? Mark
  16. Cheers Guys, I have got the tool but it is made of Plastic and buckles easily when any force is applied!! I might try heating them gently and see if that makes any diference! mark
  17. Tony, There is some guy on the Z forum with two brand spanking new engines for sale for 2750 ONO, sounds like a bargain to me! Mark
  18. If you took some of the Pies whippets and Tabs out of your boot you too would be able to handle roundabouts :D :D :D
  19. OOOO EERRRRRR Missus My TSW hockenheim wheels have got a centre plate with a large nut holding this covering plate on! Anyway this nut is seized and after many attempts with plus gas it is still locked on, any ideas!!
  20. Hello Mate, Think Automotive do them, for £9 each for the z!! Mark
  21. Andy knows it is the only sensible way to go?
  22. Hi Rai, Can I ask what you mean by flash point/pour point?
  23. Hi, Just Browsing the Mustang forum for a mate who has just bought one! I saw a post on there saying that antifreeze does not have as much thermal capacity as water and if you want your car to run cooler you are better off using the lowest ratio of antifreeze to water!! Weather permitting of course!!!! I admit to being puzzled as it usually says on the tin summer coolant and antifreeze?????????? Answers on a A4 piece of paper please!
