Commiserations Mate My only advice is on the rebuild remove the freeze plugs on the block and remove the old casting flashing which hinders coolant flow to cylinders 5 and 6! Mark

I must admit, I love the looks and sound of the Cerberra, but I keep on hearing that if the engine goes haywire you have to send it to Blackpool for a rebuild! As TVR will not release the parts for other people to rebuild them!

Was that a 30% increase on what the stock radiator holds or over the entire cooling system contents? Warren am I right in presuming you haven't installed the aftermarket thermostat yet? Hi, Anyone know whether it is still legal to have clear lenses on the rear brake lights, combined with red colour bulbs. I have hear that the actual colour of the lenses has to be red even when unlit! Mark

Yeah I know I should finish the TT conversion first but things are pointing towards the direction of my current Puta completely crapping out!! The replacement Hard Drive dell sent is making self destruct noises, my monitor is contorting the picture as to make it look like I've drunk 10 pints of Stella (cheap night out)! I weighed up the options for upgrading my current system and the specific pentium 1ghz chip upgrade, the max my motherboard can take is £150. The cd rewriter is 45ish so I might as well take the plunge and see whats out there, I can get a 2nd hand system for 200ish with all that spec!! So what do all you computa experts reckon build my own or buy 2nd hand, and is there anyone out there who will hold my hand nothing to do with computers though!!!!!!!:eek: Don't go there ChrisC!!!!

To tell you the truth Piper said they would have to see the cams to determine whether they would be able to work on them!! I am dubious as even the engineer said they are a highly tuned engine to start with and is 50/50 if it would benefit!

Probably because they have to build the sensors to meter and withstand 500-1000+ degree heat and they don't sell as many as the other type of gauges popular in Novas:D

Hi Tony, You have quite a choice, you can get one gauge and have two sensors and then use a toggle switch to flick between the two banks! Autometer do the cheapest at 120, then the price goes up! A useful feature is having some sort of recording facility to know what has gone on in the near past! Mark
