Rear square number plate (imported 2000)
Hello Mate, If you do a search, I think you will find that the new law says that import vehicles can have their own plate of whatever size made up due to the constraints of the vehicle ! If you do a search you will see the specific law talked about a few months ago!

A range of adhesives wanted????
Hi, I need a variety of adhesives for my collection? A metal adhesive that can withstand the temperatures generated on the plenum? A high temp adhesive for glueing some heat insulating matting to the bulkhead? A flexible adhesive for attaching some Fibreglass IC vents to a poly bumper? Adhesive anoraks please supply your answers and where to get these products from?

Oil Cooler
Hi John, I didn't go for the 25 row in the end, in an attempt to reign my finances back in:eek: I ended up with the thermostatically controlled feed to the oil cooler, removing the pressure fed system! The 19 row is meant to fit, should do as the stock UK one is 19 row, but I plan on getting an Oil temp montior in the future so it might be interesting to see how far it cools the oil! Another downside with 25 row is that it decreases the flow of air to the radiator, so the oil might be cooler and water not so cool:eek:

ECU Upgrades
Hi Guys, Do a search using *ecu*, analyse all the information and make a decision! SE chip you get more BHP but you take more of a risk with your engine! JWT not as much BHP, but you get more fuel economy and engine longevity! Jap chips are more designed for higher octane fuel! Home made chips, crinkly or low fat take your pick! Copied chips naughty but nice! Zemulator Emanage or AFC great if you know what you are doing? If you can't afford an engine rebuild go with JWT?

ECU Upgrades
I have heard 14.7:1 is the A/F ratio Mecca, EGT's Detonation, engine design permitting?

Buy an older UK manual car, and modify the bollox out of it!!! Then you get classic car insurance on, and just pay another £100 quid a year for all the mods!

Pulleys and assemblys for Timing belt change
Hi Gio, You live and learn! By the way, there have been a load of reports of bad shipping and incorrect deliveries from courtesey, some of which were several of my deliveries! Coz at CZP is meant to be the fella to get Nissan stuff from now including the elusive PFR6B-11B plugs!!!!!!!!! The only other thing to replace is the main pulley to one of the Fischer Lightened Pulleys which you might catch the tail end of the group buy!!!!!! Torsionally dampened as well!!!!! Can we tempt you away from stock,, OOOOOOHHFFF suits you sir!!!!!!!!!!;)

How do I remove the Pinstripe on the bottom of the car!
As above really, not sure I like it, think it dates the car slightly! I have been told to heat it up with a hair dryer, has anyone tried this? I have removed a small section and it has left a little bit of crap behind I presume this will come off with T-cut?

cams for auto
Yes the intake cams are different! The degrees you are talking about Clarkey are the degrees of opening that cams open the valves for! So if I am right the Manual cams open for a longer amount of time on the intake! I believe the cams on the Manual, give you more top end power, the ones on the Auto more torque! But I could be mistaken! Piper cams do reprofiling, but it would be better to go with a proven profile/name designed for what you want from your car!

Does it piss you off? vote now:D
It is very annoying! In forum suggestions, I proposed an alphabetical list of subjects, so people could reference them about OEM spares and upgrades! I notice they have started something similiar on TTnet and called it 'everything about series', they must have read my post LOL!

Oil Pump Replacement
A lot since you have got to lift the engine out or drop the crossmember and sump! If you have low oil pressure it is probably the sender unit which is at fault! Mark
