  1. I think we have enough space booked, and we can always shift things around for PAID UP MEMBERS :D for non members it is £20 to park their car there
  2. Looks like the VG30Dett has Emma Freuds
  3. Anyway got a few cans, personally I think the 60 stuff is too thick :D
  4. Hi Jez, Don't they have a problem with not being able to chip the S14A, and never heard of that turbo before? Paul, You look like a child of the 70's, wasn't the capri in bodie and doyle :D
  5. CTM is an engineering shop that specialises in building and tuning engines and heads for high performance engines! Their prices and work are very good! So much so you will wait a long time for work to be completed at the end of race season!!
  6. VW Golf VR6/Gti yeah crossed my mind, even the corrado vr6, but HHugly Cossie fuel consumption?? Saab 900 turbo (93 or whatever there called now) don't know a lot of their tuning potential S14 not a great shape Skyline GTS bit overpriced for 4k Fiat Coupe Turbo yuk Audi Coupe nice but slow 306 GTi-6 don't know a lot but aren't they a bit slow?
  7. Go to Andy Duffs and get him to take the heads off! Source second hand parts and then get the heads sorted at CTM in Ilford! End of Story
  8. A tea coosie has crossed my mind but it can be very thirsty, a mate of mine does a pound a mile in fuel in his! How does an Omega fill any criterea, apart from mini cabbing  I know I am gonna get slated for this, but the proton gti has always looked good to me
  9. Got to be reasonable on fuel eeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrr,
  10. Sounds a bit gay to me, where's chrisc and big roy when they are needed :D
  11. I am looking up an appropriate response up in my gangsta dictionary :p
  12. Well, The guy that I bought my S13 from has offered to buy it back from me. I like the S13 but I would like to consider my options! The car I am looking for has: Got to be sporty looking Got to be fast Got to be reasonable on fuel Got to have an attempt at having four seats. Got to be insurable under a classic policy, i.e. over ten years old! Would like a hatchback when I have to cram potential serial murder vicitms into the back  I like the S13 and in reality it gave me all of the above, do you think there are many other cars that would do this?
  13. I thinking of getting some in gold actually, cos they would look phat, and gve me motor some extra BLING    :slap:
  14. Bit of a bodywork novice and I was wondering what is the correct primer and method for respraying your windscreen wipers, do they need rubbing down etc.?
  15. Stu, I was taking it that people would put in new rings and hone the block if you were rebuilding the engine! Explain to me the different grade of piston for each cylinder?
  16. Since the pistons at the rear of the zed, take an absolute pounding and are generally the ones to fail! If you are doing a rebuild and can't afford forged jobs, might it be a good idea to reverse the order of the pistons, so that the ones that were under less strain are now taking the punishment?
  17. Believe you and me it will be easier/quicker/cheaper in the long run, to take the engine out!
  18. 7 Hours! 4 old chap  NO seriously take your time, use bits of masking tape to label connectors and hoses, loads of clear plassy bags, pieces of carboard to put bolts in the order they came out in, take digital pictures of how things assembled together! Most importantly of all, don't skimp on parts, if you can replace items do so, remove the aiv's, and prvr system, blank off the egr system, bypass the throttle bodies!
  19. Engine out!! It is a difficult job, and you will have trouble getting the correct torque settings!
  20. Have to confirm that I was tightening a wheel nut with the tailgate open slipped and caught me suede right in the same corner
  21. I had read it but couldn't remember where I had stored it :duffer: Don't want to put the cat amongst the pigeons, thanks for negotiating a discount, but a two pound saving over a weekend is hardly worth the clubs aggrovation of organising it! The venue isn't going to be sold out and as you know, it will help you and the aquadrome to make more money and make it a more satisfactory event, if you encourage people to prebook by bigger discounts!
  22. To be honest I would go for the upgrade with the UD pulley kit, then get Martin to fit it! 07979375230, is his number!
  23. Bloody el that is cheap, considering you can't get all the proper parts for £250!! http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=275&Car_Type=NIS300&UID=2004060410492881.155.167.135
  24. Yes Martyn is excellent! Get the cambelt kit from Coz at CZP from America, there are varying levels of kit you should go for, I would recommend the most expensive as there is no such thing as a cheap shortcut when it comes to our cars!
