I have just tried it with a LAN lead and it works so I know that the internet side is all sorted fine, but it doesn't look as if it has opened a port on the router for the wireless which it says is connected. How do I check the WEP

I have just restored my laptop cos the kids screwed it up and now I can't connect to the internet, I have my wireless connection set up but it wont connect to t'internet. Any ideas guys, I'm stuck
