decisions
Bird mate, what would it cost to do the engine in yours, add that to the cost of a wide arch kit and bodyshop costs. Then price up a new moter with wide archs and see which is the better option. Personaly I would have the lump out, send it for the arch kit and then while its away do the engine, slap it all together and you have a new car anyway.

Garda Story
Thats a bit like the four lads in Sydney, three of them distracted the speed camera van by talking to the opperaters and one of them stole the number plates off the van. Then they put the plates on their car and drove past 17 times at speed triggering 17 speeding fines that got sent to the camera van.

Bank charges !!!!!!!!!
My bank rang me again today to tell me they have bounced another DD and are putting another charge on the account. So I told her in a forceful tone (I shouted allmost) "If you stop putting furking charges on the account then there would be enough in there to cover the DD." Muppets

Child custody
Federal Court Ruling from the Melbourne Age, Australia (AP) A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the English Cricket Team, whom the boy firmly believes are "not capable of beating anyone." :-)

Billys gay dad
BILLY'S GAY DANCER DAD Billy was at school this morning and the teacher asked all the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came out, fireman, policeman, salesman, chippy, captain of industry etc, but Billy was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father. "My father is an exotic dancer in a gay club and every night he takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes if the offer is really good, he'll go out with a man, rent a cheap hotel room and let them do all sorts of horrible things to him." The teacher, blushing profusely, quickly set the other children some work and took little Billy aside to ask him if that was really true. "No" said Billy, "He plays cricket for England, but I was just too embarrassed to say."

No wonder we don't go by rail
Well I thought I might take her in doors to Fort William in the summer and didn't think it would be economical to take the Zed, so I thought about the train. Well it was £208.80 each to get there and £49 each to get back. Now I can fly to Venice and get a hotel for less than that so there you go.

Anyone here ever lived/worked in Australia?
I lived in Cairns for a while, great place for hospitality. Right here is the scoop If you only want to go for two years you can get a two year working visa (recently increased from a one year) the down sides to this is you can only work in one job for three months at a time, you can not return to the same job twice and you must spend three months on a farm, this is because they are short of farm workers and need to entice people to that area of work. I think its a small price to pay for two years of Aus as its a graet place.
