  1. LOL Tim, just a short-term measure until I get enough for new rubber all-round. Dave
  2. I had a white MKIII Supra which had been treated with "Diamond Brite". You only needed to give it a quick wash and it shone like a ...... er, a diamond  Dave
  3. Cheers for the info Syko! I'm getting 18's - 19' are way out of my league; as are a set of brand new tyres all-round. Hence the 'phone call for part-worns  Dave
  4. LOL :D Thanks m8 - I just cant wait to get them (but I will have to while they are shipped from Japan) - hopefully they should be here in time for Billing. Hopefully my Z should look something like this:- A big thanks to Johnny-Boy at GPS (plug plug!) http://www.grasshopperprosport.co.uk  top man! Cheerz Dave
  5. Blimey Stu, another with more than 1 zed. Joining the ranks of Mac and Mark Topless- you greedy bugger :D:D:D Dave
  6. Stu, are you sure you're not numerically dyslexic and mistaken two posts for one :D
  7. How do you empty it afterwards? My advice is to suck all those exhaust fumes out back through the tube :p Dave
  8. Stu, you're going to have to speak up- I can't hear you for all that squealing. It's going on right now and the car is locked-up on the driveway! Dave
  9. These are also worth a try:- http://www.4newtyres.co.uk/index1.asp Cheerz Dave

Have a look at this:- http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=272077&words=na%3a%3acat%3a%3aremoval Cheerz Dave

I'd do a search on http://www.twinturbo.net on this subject- I remember reading that removing the cats from an N/A will actually harm the performance of your car. Apprarently, some sort of back-pressure is still required (for low-end torque?) TT owners can get away with this because the turbos themselves create some back-pressure. Cheerz Dave
  12. Mark, I had a shipping quote from http://www.tirerack.com - they have quoted $204 to ship rims from US to UK. I'm still waiting to hear from http://www.takakaira.com for a shipping quote from Japan. I'll keep you posted mate. Dave
  13. LOL Paul. I can't believe how piss-poor the choice of rims for a Z is in this country. Looks like I may have to import from either Japan or the US  Dave
  14. Citroen Saxo, I could've walked faster :p Dave
  15. What improvements are there? What are you doing sitting up 'til 3.00 AM  get to bed :D Dave
  16. Haallllooooooo, what a top guy ;) Dave
  17. I snogged Patricia Penrose of "Heartbeat" fame - I was 16 at the time :p Dave
  18. Nice one for not breaking it Mac, there's so many being broken at the moment :( Dave
  19. I've been outbid for those Blitz alloys on ebay :( But thanks to BigRoy, I could have made an expensive mistake:- he told me that the hub centre on a Z is bigger than on the Soop and I'd need big spacers, plus new nuts to go with them. This may have upset the handing. So in they end they may have been a lot of trouble to fit, thanks for the info bud ;) So now I'm back at square one  Dave
  20. Happy birthday Diane, Hope you have a great time Dave
  21. Cheers Mac :D Just rang GPS before about this. Apparently the spacers wont need to be too big. I know a place (Pemberton Tyres) that can sort this. Cheerz Dave
  22. LOL :D That'd be telling ;) Dave
  23. Had just decided today to get a set of these- spooky :D Wonder if they'll fit a zed Dave
  24. Sorry Chris, it wasn't me Dave
