which pads?
I got mine from http://www.stranoparts.com for a really good price (the amount escapes me at the moment!) I can't give an opinion on these pads as I still haven't got round to fitting them yet. But, I'll take Mac's word that they are very good  Dave

Interesting Article in Auto Express Magazine
Nelson, I think the 4wd system will add a lot of MASS! :D I agree with Dilbrain, Skylines look impressive (I prefer the look of the '33 to the '34 though) but they don't have the beautiful lines of a zed. It's like comparing Denise Lewis to Fatima Whitbread; both athletic, one is sexy and the other is, well, erm... 'butch' ;) To the average person in the street, I'm sure a zed would get more 'rubber necks' than a Skyline. Awesome cars all the same though :) Dave

Whining/grinding noise from wheel arch?
It may be that your brake pads need changing. Mine is making this noise- the sound is made by a wear indicator which rubs against the disc. A damn site more annyoying than a little red light on the dash to show the pads need changing  Dave

Friendly Fire.!
Just heard that one British tank has fired on another one. We've lost more men through accidents & "friendly fire" than being shot by the enemy.
-
Friendly Fire.!
lol- I don't see how they can call it "friendly fire" there nothing friendly about a bullet/bomb/missile heading towards you! BTW- the 'real' term is "Fratricide" Dave

y force is sometimes necessary
You're spot-on Stu, this war is a 'necesarry evil'. In my opinion, we let the Iraqi people down back in '91- we should have continued all the way to Baghdad and got rid of Saddam. You only have to hear these reports about his henchmen firing on their own countrymen to realise what kind of a person we are dealing with. I just hope that the allied forces can support this uprising in Basra, which will help the Iraqi people free themselves from the 'shackles of oppression' (to coin an over-used phrase!). But it'd be even better if this conflict was terminated by a BGM109 Tomahawk up Saddam's arse though :D Dave

bodykits???
I suppose what you have to consider is that you will only ever have a bodykit fitted to your car once; apart from a couple of unlucky people on the forum who have had botch-up jobs fixed up. (Vijay/Tezza?). I could not recommend PPS highly enough- the extra money you pay for travelling up to the North East will be more than offset against the savings you make on his low prices, and also knowing that you will get a good, no, actually I mean GREAT job done! He's done around 15 Zeds now  so he has plenty of experience with them! Good luck whatever your choice. Dave BTW, which kit are you going for?

How can PPS make your Z shine like this?
Good choice Warren & Roy, well worth the journey 'oop North! Peter has done around 15 zeds now, I think that says something about his reputation here- top man  Dave
