  14. Blimey - I go away for a week and everything falls apart  duffer/smithy - some great suggestions there. I don't mind paying subs. After all, most of us have got a from this site- but most importantly, help has come from other members. We need to retain our 'core' membership as well as expanding our numbers. However, I agree with all the points made about accounts. Mac has done sterling work in bringing in the traders; these funds in addition to members subs must put us in a 'healthy postition'. But, some sort of financial statement must be issued so we know 'where out money has been going' mark topless - nice one on the postition of mods/members liaison. I think there should be someone there to 'bridge the gap' just my two penneth Dave
  15. Sorry it's come to this Dave - not many of us old "Bravenet" boys left now  Dave
  16. What really pissed me off is that my Z recovery procedure had turned into a spectator sport. All the coffin-dodgers with their deckchairs (in a service station FFS!) saying "that front bumper will catch the ramp" Felt like telling them to **** off
  17. I took the missus and the Z down to Devon for a week. I pulled into Michael Wood services on the M5 only to see a large pool of coolant under my Z  I called the AA who told me "there was a leak near the back of the engine" and couldn't do anything to fix it. I asked them to call the Nissan dealer in Torquay (as we had booked a hotel in Torquay). Apparently they were "too busy" to fit me in. So where 5 other Nissan dealers in the South West. They had a whole week to check it out FFS! I ended up having to take it to Weston-Super-Mare, and stay in a Travel Inn overnight. The next day they tell me that a pipe at the back of the engine (just above the gearbox) was leaking, so was my water pump :( So until the car was fixed, we had to catch 3 trains for the remainder of our journey to Torquay, carrying a shitload of luggage. I picked the car up yesterday, after 3 more trains (without luggage this time - phew!) to take the Z back to Torquay. I was also greeted with a repair bill for £718  Luckily I took out a parts and labour warranty with the AA, they will be paying £475 of the bill. Just totally pissed off with Nelson (not our Nelson ;)) for not doing the Z at a dealership nearer to where we were staying - Nissan UK will be getting a nasty email from me :slap: Dave
  18. Looks a good-un Jay. Mrs W is keen on getting TWO of these beasties when we eventually get our house. Having owned one in the past, I'm sure the buggers will eat the house in one mouthful
  19. I entered an ebay auction for Blitz 03's a while back, the fitment was for a soop. The bolt pattern and offset should fit the Z, the only difference is the size of the centre-bore. Z is 66mm, soop is 60mm. You can get 'spigots' - basically a ring which will fit in the bore-hole make make a snug fit around the hub centre. If the wheels are for a supra, you may be lucky in the fact that there may be a 3mm spigot inside which could be removed and hey presto, they may fit a Z. Alternatively the bore hole may be 60mm and you would need the centre to be machined-out  Dave
  20. I don't know - you try to be a little bit original
  21. I LOVE that race pic; seeing those two zeds leading the pack. It makes me, so proud  Dave

  24. Yeah I've got a 7650, as Duffer says it's a bit bulky and the battery life aint too good. But its got some great features and there are lots of (cracked ;)) applications out there for it too :D Dave
