not red, red negative, redless, a decent colour, red minus red = another colour other than red...

Leave it in the sun for days and days - the red will fade to pink :D

hang on, there is no sun for days and days in the UK - maybe fork out a grand and get a spray job thingy

It is a decent colour. A polished up red-zed looks great IMHO. :)

a grand  more like 3+ :(

Mine is pink!

:headvswal

If you were going for a full-repain Joel and wanted to stick to a stock colour, then you really can't go wrong with Bayside blue. But remember, engine out, doors off, tailgate off. Nothing worse than seeing overspray on the arch liners or exhaust. A complete strip down. It's what's put me off getting a complete colour change.

Also, if you're going blue, make sure you fit UK or blue window tint to compliment the colour.

si ffs did you have to?

now im gonna have to start another post asking how i can make my zed 6 inches shorter!

It looks good with the extra length. :)

If I was starting again, it would always be a 2+2 TT.

tbh... i dont think i could ever warrant the expenditure of a colour change repaint :(

i have to agree about this pic... loving the finish and sheen from the depth of the paint... wonder what that looks like up close and personal, looks like its been shopped a little?

Yeah, it probably has. I've not see zeroflake's car in person.

TBH mate, I think what would make your happy is if you were to have a professional detailer work on your current paint with a PDG, PC and Brinkman to bring out the colour, or even a mild colour sanding. The seal it with wax. You'll get an insanly deep gloss finish to the paint and you may be able to 'rekindle your love' for the car.

I've seen your car, the paint is in top condition anyway.

its not 'too bad' but it has several blemishes... also, the rear bumper is a different shade, the front bumper has paint cracking around the fog lenses.. etc etc. im too much of a perfectionist to warrant carrying out detailing on it... the saying goes 'you cant polish a turd!

Have a blow over then. Strip the bumpers, lights and other trim off. Get some new paint on the body and while you're at it, get the rock-gaurd removed. :)

It looks good with the extra length. :)

.

That sounds discusting :rofl::rofl:

i love the red colour even thou its as red as the dik on a dog:rofl:

If you are going for a colour change, then now must be the time to do it as places like bodyshops are going to be more amiable to cutting their prices, just to keep the money rolling in. I have found a cracker in Bristol Joel if you are interested, he has already done work on my car and will be doing some more shortly. A real quality job and no VAT.

Joel ffs dont change the colour as every time you open the hood or look in the nooks and crannys including exterior trim the red colour will still be there and it will piss you off...ive never seen a car with a colour change look right because of this fact;)

To be honest mate, i think Fungalbumpkin has come up with the best suggestion, take it for a blow over so the whole car is exactly the same colour, then get it detailed. Once youve got that deep glossy red, i know i'd be happy, and im sure you would too
