So who felt the Earth tremor?

Or was you lot sleeping through it? biggrin.gif

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2275158.stm

The UK has been hit by an earth tremor.

It affected parts of the West Midlands, Wales, North Yorkshire, London, and Wiltshire.

The tremor was felt at approximately 0100 BST.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The whole length of Wales was shaken and people over 120 miles apart felt two sudden shock waves

In south Wales, people in Cardiff, Newport, Caerphilly, the Vale of Glamorgan and as far west as Swansea, felt the powerful shock waves.

Callers to the BBC reported doors slamming and windows rattling.

Many miles further north, in Wrexham, officers from North Wales Police said their control room in a tower block shook violently.

Never felt a thing in Chester, did let an almighty Vindaloo gas attack out around 1am so anything 10 miles of Chester wouldn`t have had anything to do with an Earthquake!!

I live in North Wales and didn't feel a thing. Mind you the missus has got a big gob!!!

Felt it in Nuneaton made my Red Bull fridge in my bedroom shake, thought someone was nicking my z out of the garage so stuffed my head out of the window whilst nearly naked only to see all the neighbours looking out of their windows too!

Ive also got a scanner that you can listen to police radios etc on that was pretty amusing.

Its a conspiracy!, its the government testing new weapons underground!.

I remember sleeping through an earthquake when I was staying in North Hollywood for a bit over ten years ago. Was a 5.6 with the epicentre about 80 miles away, we had a riotous night the night before and woke to find pictures crooked on the walls, table top stuff on the floor and the beds had 'moved' slightly (about 6"!) and thought 'blimey! must of been good night before 'cos I dont remember trashing the place as well!!'.

Yep...was still up and about at 1am that night..most nights really. smile.gif

Was quite strong in Bedfordshire where I happened to be at the time.
