I know there are more than 6 in the UK. I was being sarcastic. ;)

There's probably about 15 people on this forum who have one.

What he might mean I guess, is that it might be one of only 6 brown ones (original colour). Can't remember the name, it was some funny pearlescent colour. southwestZ's Dad had one that colour.

I'm not too keen on the color it is just now but i prefer that to brown lol, my mate had a horrible Austin Allegro Vanden Plas in brown.

He says according to Nissan UK

we all know how reliable for information they are!

I'd never admit to having an Allegro owning friend! Does it have the quartic wheel? LOL I hope you've nicknamed it 'The Flying Turd'!

It was his first car (1990) he paid £50 for it but i never saw the wheel as i refused to get in it. He and a few mates drove it to see Ozzy Osbourne at the Barrowlands and it never came back.

I'd say that figure it totally made up and relates to no data at all. Nissan UK would'nt have a clue about how many of any version are in the UK.

They "may" know how many have been worked on in the UK by Nissan main dealers, but ofcourse they would be well aware that its of no relation to actual numbers.

p.s The Pearlescent bronze colour being discussed is a real grower IMO, Im really fond of it now. In person you can really appreciate it, and a lot of people seem to really like it when they see it.

I think that there were a few sold by Nissan dealers as 'personal imports' and registered from new in the UK. He could mean that, although I have only heard of one that I know of.

Pearlescent bronze sounds a lot better than Brown, there is a bronze Z on ebay with a smoothed tailgate, is that the same.

(its not there now, must have sold or ad expired)

not seen the ebay one, but its a brown colour, but called Pearl bronze I believe.

But as with most peals they do look a lot better in person than they do on camera.

They came with cream interiors as standard (cream leather seats and cream suede panels).

The one on ebay was different, it was more of a metalic bronze. Not to keen on that colour but like you say the pics probably don't do it justice.

I would not touch it with a shitty stick. the leather on the seats is worn, the mirror is cracked and its been resprayed. It has a Nissan badge on the front headlight panel and the aeriel is stuck semi up. I would be wondering what the respray covered up especially as it sounds recent as the log book has not been changed. Why have it resprayed and then sell it, unless of course its a cheapo blow over.

Just say it as it really is, Si - and that's square!!!

Any car with a square steering wheel should just be taken away and crushed;)

A girl I worked with some years ago had a boyfriend who drove one - a "souped-up" effort painted with black Hammerite:nono:
