i recently chose between the LG Secret, the Samsung Tocco and the Sony Ericson c902.

I chose the Samsung, but the LG was also really good!!! If you like touch screen, the Samsumg works very well, has 3g internet, 5mp camera etc etc and its tiny!!!

Yep N96 I got that one and it's brilliant.

Always had Nokias but I have to say the N73 I have now is really pissing me off:headvswal It takes about 2 mins to read data

I've got a new Samsung Soul. Looks really good, but has very conveluted menu system and the centre touch pad has a mind of its own. Great looking phone, but wished I'd gone for an Iphone or N96 instead. Reason I didn't choose anything too fancy is that I already have a Blackberry 8800.

I have the Iphone but wouldn't reccommend it to anyone else. It's good but there are better phones.

I have the n95 which is great, tried everything (we get samples in here) including the HTC Diamond etc and the N96.

Found the keys were horrible on the N96 and i keep coming back to the iPhone, nicest, cleanest, easiest to use interface, much quicker than everything else so that's what i'll be opting for

i agree, had the iphone 2g now since it was released back in novemver 07 (updated to 3g software now though) and i love it, although the c905 looks great and will be the best camera phone out there for a long time, the internet capabilities and music features of the iphone hammer everything else. nokia if you get a good one are ace if you plan on using all the things on there, but they often release things too early and the software usually carries lots of bugs until they release an upgrade, o2 retail havent even taken it on for this reason until its been out for 3/4 months and there is an upgrade available.

I'm on version 21(!) of the firmware for the N95 now, much better battery life but still crashes randomly once in a while, overall though, best phoen of its generation and the sat nav function has saved my life twice (lost in the middle of nowhere and also when i was late for a meeting in a random city)

my mrs had the nokia e65 for about 8 months now and its been nowt but crap locks up all the time

i currently have the n95, i like the phone but sometimes when i go on the web it says the memory isn't good enough for the web page.

So if possible i want something that is good for web browsing, good memory, good camera/video.

So far the best options sound like n96, 0mnia, samsung c9 something lol.

I do like the iphone as iv great to play around with and music etc but it's not great with the likes of txtin and things which whatever i buy needs.

Anyone know what the google phone will be like?

I've got a Palm Treo 500V and i would'nt recommended it to anyone! If you want something along the same lines, stick with Blackberrys!

I'm already on my second handset in a couple of months and i am locked into the contract for another 16 months - not a happy bunny!

Anyone know what the google phone will be like?

looks pretty cool from what ive seen, will almost certainly be a carbon copy of the iphone but with a windows mobile feel to it, with the iphone everything has to go through itunes or the app store (unless its unlocked) where the G1 will prob accept more applications that arnt specifically designed for it. i would imagine it will only be available on 1 network in the uk so you may have to change networks. there are various videos and guides out there on the net but the reviews arn't great from what i can see, i guess i depends on how well it allows you to browse the web and also how restrictive the software is when trying to run other applications.

What about the Blackberry Storm that I keep seeing advertised on TV past few days, looks pretty cool. Dont know anything about it, other than its got a nice big screen and looks good.

Anyone know what its like ?

But unlike other touchscreens Its a new design where the screen is mounted on lots of individual springs so when you touch it you can feel it push down like your pushing a button.

The Bottom bits are buttons too

Looks interesting, I am starting to think the screen on my omnia is too small, I still hanker after my XDA IIi and thought the only alternative with a similiar size screen is an iphone!
