i first noticed these in halfrauds and snorted as i walked past them thinking how rediculous and boy-racery they were. then i turned around and looked at them for a while. now in my search for a new set of alloys they have cropped up again. and i keep looking at them, and trying to picture them fitted to a blue Z with smoked side repeaters.

do i need a :slap: and a pair of glasses?

I don't have an opinion on them. Let's just say they remind me of a pair of chav's trainers for some reason. They aren't directional either, so you'd have 2 wheels rotating one way and the other two rotating the other.

personally i dont like them and have had a little look while in halfords one day

saying that though after the copy & paste they do look ok ive seen allot worse on a z so suppose its just personal taste so if u like em ?

i think the nismo's si posted on that other thread where the dog's and is sort of the style i want but have seen a set of 19s that i think are my style lol

decision's /decision's !

   now you say that Si I can see what you mean. theyre quite cheaply priced and no doubt theres a reason for that.

If you're going to invest in some new wheels, I'd save a bit and get a quality set. Your current wheels look nice enough for the time being. I'd certainly not grace any car with 90% of the poor quality wheels on display at Halfords.

Still suprises me that they sell BBS there.

sorry Brian I didnt quite hear that? ;)

SHITE

I think that was what Bri was trying to say. :wack:

never fancied any of those tbh, most of them are too flashy for what im looking for. i want something plain and solid - like the Volks/Nismos from the other thread. ideally i'll wait for my bodykit to go on, then change the wheels at the same time for a completely new look.

@znut - well my post count's not going to go up by itself ;)

What bodykit are you going for.....

WW front, veilside sideskirts, different headlight panel, Z centre type 2 bonnet vent. gunmetal meshing.

So the catfish and chicken-wire is going? ;) Don't blend it this time. You should go for the car.mad nose panel if you're going aftermarket.

Hope you're keeping that colour, does look nice.

I've never been a fan of the look of the Gram lights. They do weigh next to nothing though.

hey dont diss it, it won best photo over on 300zx-club ;) though i have to say I'd ordered a Bomex bumper from some joker on fleabay who sent me this one and then fooked off. it was blended cos it didnt fit properly. i think the blending itself looks great but unfortunately is the reason why ive got a pair of yellow wings in the spare room waiting to be sanded down. i love the colour too and shall definately be keeping it. unfortunately the bodyshop who did the work have gone AWOL so i need to find one who i can trust to match the colour (is actually an off-the-shelf colour so shouldnt be too difficult) and repeat the great work. i have two or three in mind, but i want to get my interior fitted first. bloody Zs nothing but money :mac1:

im quite parcial to a nice 5 spoke, would look fantastic on a black Z

I am too, but there are more beefy and aggressive looking wheels than the gramlites. They rave about them on the US forum, but I've never seen the appeal.

There was a guy over there who did a before/after shot of his. He had ADRs on there previously which look a gazillion times better than his gram lights. The 57fs are just a really unflattering wheel IMHO.

I just think they do nothing for the car. I'd rather have stock UK TT wheels.

...these are probably one of my 2 styles of my favourite 5 spokes.

what wheels are on the jim wolf Z si?

I think they would look better if he went for a bigger wheel to fill out the arch
