Hello,

i purchased a speedo cluster which is different to what I've got. I've got a boost guage so wanted to put a speedo from a NA into a TT

This is the back of mine, can someone please recognise it (year - my car is 1992 jap tt, version etc):

Am I able to put a NA cluster into a TT?

Seems, i have a spare NA cluster now...

Well I have some pics which are different to what you have, so it must be what you had already (if that makes any sense).

And I don't see why you can't put a TT cluster in an NA and vice versa.

If you put an N/A cluster in a TT you wont have the boost guage, replacing the speedo board, ie remove the 4 screws on the back of the cluster, you can replace the speedo module but you will need the TT clock face, to view the boost guage, if that makes sense

should clear it up, i've put an aftermarket boost guage in - thus the one on the dash isn't needed any more.

In That case, just take out the speedo module, complete with face and place into your original dash housing, that way you dont need to change the oddometer. Also you dont have to worry about connectivity problems.

This is the updated cluster setup found on the 92 - 00 models. Im looking to upgrade my 89 cluster to this type (i hope). I havent had a good clear picture of the back but this is a jem to me atm anyways. I dont see why i cant swap the clusters over. I might need to swap connector wires to match the correct circuitary copper lines but this gives me more hope its doable.
