Welcome to the forum mate.......:)

My advice - if you have to ask about how many miles you will get from only £10 then a 300zx is not for you!

Think more along the lines of £75 for a fill up - and you really will have to fill the tank otherwise you will be stopping for fuel every 1/2 hour:nono:

And you should get around 220-250 miles from your £75 of Shell's finest, depending on your driving. I get that from a UK spec TT auto.

Richard

How many Miles will you get for £5???? in a 300zx TT auto  Lol

It's been less than $110 a barrel since the end of July and is now less than $100! It was $147 in June...We're still being ripped off and in my opinion this is the main area that Gordon and his Darling need to focus their attention...Stamp duty relief in a declining market, stopping short selling on financial shares...How exactly does that help the man in the street?!!! in one fell swoop they could get a grip on inflation if they focussed some attention on this area...everything in the UK is delivered by road.. It's not hard to work out!!!...Tubz for Chancellor!

Cos the goverment are also coining all the surplus tax and we're getting no tax relief! In fact they removed the 10p rate!!..Time for a change me thinks!

PETROL COSTS = LOTS!!!

Don't even bother buying a Z if you're in the least bit concerned about fuel costs or maintenence costs

It's all relative. He could be comparing the costs of running a Z compared with a Hummer or a Thrust SSC. Just because people ask about fuel costs, doesn't mean they are tight.

On the motorway about 80-90 miles on £10

The TT seemed to be slightly better at 65mph than the NA (probably as it was lower compression)

Day to day average with a bit of a thrash about 20-30 miles

My record is using 5 quid up over 5 miles in the twin turbo lol

I'm willing to accept that challenge, LOL

I agree. My very 1st post here in 2002 was asking about fuel costs, compared to the car I was driving at the time.

The answer is that you get a lot of smiles per gallon :)

Back up to $120 as of yesterday apparantly

I heard. And I bet the b@stards instantly raise the cost of petrol in response; despite the "missed" opportunities to reduce the cost at the pumps when crude dropped from $140+ to $90 a barrel!!!:xxx:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

£10 would get me about 30 miles. Who puts a tenner in their car these days?

Mines a 1990 twin turbo tt. Just filled mine up this morning and on the last full tank it had done 166.8 miles!! This is with economical driving aswell! That seems to be the norm for mine...... must be overfueling?

I dunno, a litre of diesel can be had round here for 118.9, so it's not hit us yet.

If they're going to be looking at buying either (albeit the SSC!!), then fuel consumption is a bit of a waste-of-time question. It's like asking how much quicker a Twister ice lolly would melt against a Mr.Whippy if both thrown on sun-beaten tarmac at the same time. It's all futile! ;)

My TT, with remap and boost controller - 270-280 per tank of fuel on a run. That comes down to about 150-180 with all short trips from cold. As stated you have to adopt a totally new mindset when owning a Zed.

Not for the faint-hearted, not for poor drivers or just the plain poor either!! Mind you that will come in time........................

one of the papers saying that because of the american bail out our petrol price could be at 74p a litre soon! belive it when i see it! :(
