Well just got back from Zed-Fest and it was a great day, weather was fantastic! Must of took it with me, LOL. Met alot of great people very friendly and got to put names to faces finally!

 

Anyway my little brother took the pictures for me and i think he did a pretty good job, i only got about 60 cos my bloody camera memory filles up! Never had that before. But anyway they give you all an idea.

Well there's ya problem, i'd already taken all my pics by then and i was on with getting my windows tinted. You need to look at Kims pics, your's will be in there, but mine ain't, LOL.

As nice as the silver slick top is, it has the wrong spoiler on it for the year. The spoiler wasn't fitted to Zs after 95.

True, but if I had one as new as an R-reg one, I'd want it to look like it was from that year.

 

Lovely Z never the less. Nice to see someone put UK wheels on a JDM car too. UK stockers do look good when clean.

When i spoke to the guy, he said he wants to do some nice subtle mods to it, like 99-spec spoiler and rear lights...... :)

That Z has been in the UK since 1999, had done 1000km in Japan before comming over here.

 

I have a video of it from 1999 when it first came to the UK and it has that spoiler fitted already. So weather it came from the factory with it fitted or it was 'retrofitted' is a little unclear. I would love to get to the bottom of the mystery but I don't think there is any chance unless you can trace it back in Japan.

 

I think Russ is going to fit some 24" ADVAN three spokes, APR pylon spoiler and some big FG bodykit to finish it off perfectly :D :wack:

Thanks for nice comments on my car, no skill from me though, just bought it in a nice condition and now all I do is wash it, service it, hoover it etc :)

 

Interesting about the car being imported into this country. I will at some point get the inner panel off and possibly spy so later spoiler mounting holes. I guess the first Japanese owner just didn't like the interim spoiler and fitted the old one, then sold the car when the 99 model was released. The spoiler is also a genuine Nissan one (foam) and still hasn't gone wrong despite its age. As mentioned I only intend to 99 spec the outside (seeing as the interior is already there as of 98), new springs, nice wheels. Car needs paint so that comes first. Maybe decat it, but I prefer having a quiet exhaust tbh (nearly ran a few of you over in the field).

 

Having seen all the other Zs though I've really got to up my game in a few areas!! Great event, roll on the next!
