Not the 350s biggest fan. It's pretty good for what it is and looks pretty sharp, but I'd never have one. It's no real sustitute for the Z32, in both the looks and performance department. I've seen some pretty mental Z33s when in the US and whilst they look very good and are very quick, they just don't have the appeal or the presence of the Z32.

My thoughts too. I'd buy one as a sporty car for the wife, but I'd rather have the 300 myself.

There's nothing wrong with having a 350, you may not want it for the rest of your life, but why not try it out.

Just to be clear, it's not mine it Karen's. It was her company car and has now done 90,000 since 2004 and is still going strong.

Well it's nice to have a modern car where everything works, you just get in and drive it until the next service. It is quite fast, quite good torque at the bottom etc, lacking in oomph in the midrange and the handle is a bit twitchy, but aside from that it's a good everyday car. I'm sure in years to come, when they are rarer and you can't just go buy a new one, then people will love them more and treat them as classics.

I could always save a few grand and put some really nice mods into the 300 but it always seems to end up in tears with these cars. I do really like my 300zx but how many cars have we seen had grands spent and then they fookin blow up :confused: With the 350Z its a nice modern alternative and like Andy said more a every day car than my 300 and there is not as much chance of an unexpected breakdown. I like to think of it as a technilogical move forward. Anyway it might not happen yet. :):)

No but then I havent tried to tune it up yet by adding bigger injectors and turbos and trying to get loads more power. But If I had the money I probably would? Or then again I might buy a newer version :)
