Anyone changed a z32 windscreen themselves?

 

my stone chip has turned into a crack and the ebay stuff didnt help

 

no glass cover on insurance!

get glass cover then claim !!!

You will probably find they won't let you cancel it once you have claimed on it.

 

How long is left on your insurance?

Try contacting some of these. You might be able to negotiate a better deal if you play one of against another.

RAC Autowindscreens wont negotiate as they stopped doing it when they were taken over by the RAC. There more interested in dealing with insurance companies (more money), as a private customer whats on the screen is what you pay!.

Are bronze jdm screen avalible in the uk or do you have to put up with blue uk tint screen .I need a new screen its a bronze with a blue top tint .Can you get bronze with a green top tint or bronze with a bronze top tint you can on other cars.I know because i was in the windscreen trade .Are all uk cars blue then do they have top tints ata all or does it deoend on the colour of the car.:cool:

I have a good s/h one. I think its a blue tint tho.

alright ed dav z autos have you had a quote on a new screen ??? if so what kind of money are you looking at???

we get them fitted for £60 and sell them for a £100 so its not cheap

You can get a bronze tint, but there's a lead time on it whereas UK screens are readily available.

 

I want to change all my glass to blue tint eventually. All UK cars have a blue tint, but some JDM cars also had blue tint. Saphire blue JDM cars have a blue tint, so all those with SWBs if you can find, then you can get blue tint glass for them.
