I've been doing some more work to my Zed today.

 

Firstly i've given in and fitted myself some 99-spec replicas, and i've gotta say it looks superb!

 

I've also fitted a glow up centre panel, i know its a bit of a love hate thing, but i bloody love it!!! (and yes i know only two back lights are working, but i'm missing a bulb holder! Which i'm going to source asap).

 

Also i've fitted a new rear number plate.........that is the correct size!!!

 

And yes i still have'nt cleaned the car, lol!

 

Also i've chucked in a snap shot of my engine bay so far......... :D

Also bud Andy Duff did my plenum for me, he charges £150 on exchange or £200 otherwise ;) He's banned at the mo' though, so you'll need to PM Saz and she'll pass on the message for you :)

I got the pinstripes from signprint.co.uk you can choose what width etc... you want :)

Looks good. Makes a nice subtle difference just to do that. I went for the real thing, but the replicas look better than the stocks. :D

 

Mirror the above comments though, I'd remove all the badging TBH and fit the stock badging. The Twin Turbo badge looks like it came off the back of a 1967 Cadillac DeVille (if that had a twin turbo! LOL)...... Also, might be an idea to get some hammerite spray and do your wiper arms!....and don't polish them back to leave them chrome as that's awful! LOL

the lights are a good effort but ive got to say as for the rest of it im not a fan.

 

Not keen on the spoiler or the badging, I personally think the exhausts stick out a bit far as well, although i must admit that youve got one in each side which is good! :D

I am going to spray the wipers and other bits on the car that need doing, as i think things like that make the car look worn.

 

However i am keeping the badges, cos i like them :D

However the badges and spoiler are staying! The high level spoiler is the one thing i ALWAYS wanted to do when i got a zed! And i would'nt change it for anything! Everybody has their own tastes and i love the high level spoiler and i'm not a fan of many of the other options.

 

And yeah i know what you mean about the exhausts and it is something i want to do eventually, but its far from the top of the list of priorities at the mo' lol.

Keep it however you like it, ignore them lol
