Pics of the Z with new paint job and new TheTwinZ bodykit!!

After 3 months since the paint project started, we finally have the "almost finished Z" back home...As you will see, the Z needs spoiler (we're making a new design), side markers and turn signals to be finished on the outside, but we couldn't wait any longer because there were lots of emails asking about the Z and new body kit, besides we both were impatient to show the finished products too...We can finally say that we have the look we've been looking to have on our Z all these years...Well, wide rear arches, rear diffuser and some nice 18" wheels are still on the plans to be completely satisfied with the looks someday, but this is pretty good for a while at least.

Here's our new Z :)

One of the main changes we did to the Z was modifying our front bumper...We lose the protudes that were on the side vents, also reduced the height and width of the mouth and integrated the rear side markers to work as turn signals, so we could keep the lines of the bumper, follow the standard that most sport cars use as turn signals nowadays and use a Z32 part to do the job...This turn signals are not installed yet, since we still need to get the clear lenses and use an orange bulb to work as a real turn signal...The bumper looks so much better now! Now I think it is much more camera friendly than before and it's also more proportioned to the car (some people will still don't like the big mouth look, but it's the new trend on sport cars so live with it :))...We wish we could have done this before, but it was impossible to do more changes by the time we were selling the front bumpers in the US.

Our main purpose to paint the whole car was because we already had the rear bumper finished and with that, 2 of our most important body parts finished to give the updated look we were looking for, so it was time to have the Z looking brand new to compliment this new look...This is the final design of our rear bumper without diffuser...This rear bumper gives such a muscular and imponent look to the Z that you have to see it in person to believe it (pics don't do it justice!)

We have always loved the Z32's front look, but we've always thought that the rear didn't give the looks of power and presence that the Z32 has and most of the aftermarket options that try to fix that, look too aftermarket and sometimes out of place.

We also made some custom intercooler ducts to keep the air right on the Z1 SMIC's...We also made custom brackets to pull the intercoolers a little outer so they can be seen and look nice on the big mouth.

Lastly, we bought Kaminari side skirts to compliment the look of the new front and rear...Most of the side skirts we've seen on Z's don't get to completely hide the line of the lower part of the car, so we had to modify them to have a perfect factory look and fitment.

top job fellas

Thats one of the nicest z32's ive seen posted on this forum.

front fender m,akes the car appear shorter which i like.

it's a SWB ...you muppet ....that's why it's shorter .....:slap:

....

BTW, the 2+2 rear bumper version is going to be shorter than the one on the 2+0 we posted...This will help the car look much shorter, which we think is a must.

I think that could be a mistake....most 2+2 owners love the stretched limo look compared to the SWB.

That is VERY nice!! Well done.

I have to say, I used to think white was not good colour for a Z, but your Z and CrotchRocket's are two of the best on here in my opinion.

Keep it clean! And stay away from parking spaces with kerbs are the end!

Simon.

Very nice improvements to the front bumper, just hope the quality is better than your earlier one.....the one that you told everyone was top quality:nono::nono:

I don't think you'll lose that long car effect on the 2+2 with just a shorter bumper, but you'll definitely have more muscle on the rear and also delete an old looking detail since no many cars have such long bumpers anymore as 2+2 Z's have (2+2 bumper protudes like an inch longer than on the 2+0 version).

That's the idea...We're looking to improve the quality of our products even more than on our first front bumpers...Now we'll be using a brand new '99 jspec front bumper as main structure, so we can have the best fitment as possible.

BTW, did you have any fitment issues with yours? I only got 2 cases of customers with fitment issues in the US and one of them told us that his Z had an accident that affected its driver fender, so we couldn't confirm if the bumper was the problem. We have had nothing but great comments from our customers and some of them are waiting to buy new products from us as soon as they are available in the US.

Front bumper really isn't my thing, but the rest looks fantastic. Rear bumper looks very very good. Nice work.

I think you've done a great job guys, still one of my favourite front bumpers and the new rear one looks great. It looks almost Nissan standard and those skirts are great.

Keep up the good work guys and keep us updated as you do things to the car

Nick

Only small problems with the fitment, still got all sorts of problems with the headlight rubbers fitting though, my biggest complaint was the overall quality of the bumper. anyway its sorted now, and will soon be on the road, I hope!

personally, the rear bumper is too close to the exhaust, makes it look the exhaust isn't fitted correctly.

Love the look of the diffuser version though so hurry up!

that has to be one of the best looking zeds i've ever seen, great work mate

That is,without doubt, gorgeous on the eye, well done,

Tony

have you allowed the facility for fitting an undertray on the front bumper as i noticed your car does not have one fitted....btw it looks fantastic and i love the way the skirts draw up past the lower body line:bow:
