Watching TG at the moment, they've killed some quite nice cars. Old 635CSi, Alfa Spiders, Fiat coupes etc.

 

Do you think they'll one day buy a cheap Z32, abuse it and wreck it? I know some would love to see it, but I would absolutely hate to see one bought for peanuts and then distroyed.

 

Wouldn't do anything for the model or value.

Yeah, which is actually a real shame... Do we know any of the charactors who were there from the zed club, i think this may have been from the first series, i could check but its late and i cant be bothered LOL. Makes it a very early 350z review, which wasnt very good!

The value of the Z32 as a whole is totally irrelevant unless you wish to sell or buy one. If you have no intention of doing either then why worry about it?

If all of a sudden they became worth a lot of money lets say £10K for a half decent example instead of a few grand then how many owners would sell sell sell? Its like house prices, you bought a house in the 70's or 80's for £25.000 and its now worth £150,000. Great profit but if you sell and buy another thats going to cost you the going rate which is what you just got for your old one so unless you move into a counsil house there was no point?

So if they do have a 300ZX on the show and trash it I dont think it will hurt any body who wants to keep the car. Apart from the fact that instead of "Wow look at that lovely car what is it?" you will get " wow theres one of them cars they trashed on Top Gear" :)

the second or third shot in that clip when he's in the car and there is a grate in the picture which he turns past is at the end of my street, bout 15 yards from my house, all that vid is shot around sheffield.

Some of the dodgy zeds currently on ebay and pistons heads should be destroyed in my opinion as they've already been wrecked, but if they wrecked a perfectly good one it would be a shame and pointless, but top gear is all about wow factor and being cool.
