The 300 is a true sleeper.

I've done a lil of looking into this video and the race with the M3 raises questions. Apparently the 300 is running full throttle shift and also running RPS Carbon clutch and when the car drops back is apparently down to the clutch being cold and slipping. Others say he has missed a gear.

the M3 is a Horse Power Freaks Stage 2 which is big HP not sure how much.

The Porche is tunned by http://www.evoms.com/home.asp and pushing 700 hp.

Impressive hey.

Americans tend to be very generous with the gains they get from their mods... Like a chipped 300zx with a bar of boost is like 450bhp to them, where as were realistic and say its nearer 350 (lets be honest they probably wernt 280 when we started the tuning!)

Their BHP figures are at the fly. You need to check their RWHP which is usually their terms.

Sleeper Zs rule! The Z looks near perfect in stock format and with a load more grunt makes it more of a fine machine. :)

That is a true sleeper with the nice dent and.... stock rims on the rear and some other rims on the front, the rear looks a tad tatty also.

American HP is not really different from ours. HP is HP where ever you meassure it.

The only thing that makes people think that thier HP in the States is over estimated is that the best fuel they can get is 95 ron, so when they go to the dyno to measure thier HP, they run on Race fuel.

Therefore a standard Z on Race fuel in the states compared to a standard Z over here on Shell V power is always going to produce a little more HP than we would expect from the same car here.

But I have to say the majority do like the higest numbers over there so when talking about HP they are usually reffering to Flywheel rather than RW. Where as over here we are only interested to what you can get down on the road i.e. RWHP.

** I can already feel a flamer coming on from the big HP guys over here lol.
