when were they changed last?, had the hubs been cleaned before fitting?

was it thrashed to a point where the brkes where cooked therefore warping them.

any MOT station will be able to tell you if your discs are warped mate. Its part of the MOT

machine shops wont charge much for a disc skim so if your gettings vibes from a suspectedly unevenly worn disc... it might be worth your time to get them done to be sure imo.

Craking read that Joel. I may be able to save my old disks yet.

 

As above, however chances are they will say they are and charge you to replace them etc.

Most tyre centres now have "brake specialists" - eg Kwak Fart or ATS. You could simply pop into one of those and get them to check the discs.

 

ATS do the whole safety check thing for no charge IIRC.

I've since found a company in Uxbridge Power Engineering, they deal with Scoobeys and Mitzi's and say the Evo's suffer from a similar problem and can check the run out then skim them for about £30 a side if needs be!

for that price you may aswell get a pair of cheap new discs, i got a pair of blue print discs for 80 quid
