Thanks, but I really need someone who knows the ins and outs of mortgages... basically need to get my name removed from my old mortgage, but struggling to get them to accept my ex's application as she's self employed...

i will never use finacial advisors again, not going into detail, but used 2 so caled experts and ended up paying nearly £900 a month for what should have been a £107000 mortgage, and that was before the so caalled crunch

 

sorted it myself by going to banks and got it all included in my mortgage and am now going to be paying £650 a month (bargain)

 

no offnece to finacial advisrors, but i wont ever pay anyone to do what i can do for myself

I don't think he works there anymore. He posted up recently about moving out to the Seychelles (I think) to work there. I'm not sure he's even still in the country. Could be wrong though ...

its worth noting if they an IFA give you bad advice you have redress and they have indeminty insurance to cover claims for bad advice....if you do it yourself you have no such protection unless you fancy suing yourself :wack::rofl:
