I have bought some used front disc's from a guy on ebay, they were discribed as in good condition with alot of life in them which one of them is, but the other one is not (see Photo's)when I emailed him to complain he sent this reply.

I feel they were described accurately.

however you have 2 choices

refund disks for a £2.20 refund. Not worth while.

Pay postage again, return disks and I'll send you another pair

Pay £100 and I'll send you a brand new set.

what should be my next step.

why o why would you buy 2nd hand discs

Just asking for trouble like above, could be warped then the pad wear would differ aswell.

Should never skip on serious stuff like this.

Take up a dispuite with paypal and they will freaze the money. Then buy some new ones:smash:

dont wanna upset you mate but you can get a pair of brand new blue print discs for less than £100, if i remember correctly i paid £125 for pads and discs

lol  not bothered what other folk think, they were never going anywhere near my Z, wanted them for drilling practice on a template that I made from a Brembo disc.Have since found out that the guy that I bought the disc's from also trades on here.

Paul

If you only wanted them for drilling practice why complain when you spend £2.20 and get £2.20 worth?

now they are in a sorry state. Did you really only pay £2.20 ?

The pictures that were posted on ebay did not show the damage.

Hi jimmy, still in the early stages at the moment, will let you know how it goes.

TBH bud, for that price and considering you only wanted them to experiment on, just let it die, just forget about it :)

Andy z is a top bloke... ive bought loads of spares from him :)

well ya cant complain with that price anyway.....

Looks like you could rub them down a bit tho?

for the sake of 2.20, I would take it as a lesson in experience, at least you didnt spend ££££ like i did when i got stung by an ebayer!

Its 14 quid with postage, fair enough, but at least its only cost you that to realise that ebay is a load of crap, it cost me £150!!

Its cost me alot more than that in the past, now i'm sharp as a tack when it comes to ebay :) I agree with saz, its a 'cheap' lesson learned.

I got stung £350  Do I win a prize? :D

Unlucky i'm still in the lead with a grand total of £450  A VERY expensive lesson learned a long time ago!
