Speak to our very own Oilman for his suggestions, or check out opieoils.

Failing that, this question has been asked alot, do a search and all will be revealed

Redline Mt90

isnt mt90 only recomended for gearboxes with worn syncros and worn bearings, or it will cause premature wear to a good box... no?

I 'think' I remember Oilman saying a while ago that MT90 wasn't fully synthetic

I would agree with that

Redline Heavy Shock Proof...:bow::bow::bow:...Have used it in many cars over the last year or so and swear by it. This stuff is hardcore, numerous hard drift and track days and if you have a worn syncro then this will sort it out also. I run it in boxes of any condition or age and have no problems at all.

Not so good points

£17 a quart Z boxes requires approx 4.5 and 1 for the Diff

This stuff is so thick it can be difficult to squeeze "not pour" it into the filler hole

I agree with Dave C, you simply cant beat Heavy Shock, they also do light shock, and again as Dave says, it "Fixes" worn syncro, tried it in several cars, (not the Z yet but there is some in the garage waiting), all worked well with it.

And if it "fixes" worn syncro it can hardly cause it to wear more. Opposite in fact. Hence me putting it in mine, to keep the box good.

True, to a point, though i would have posted "what ATF do people recommend?" rather than oil:x::)

Is the oil filter the same as on the S13 200sx CA18DET ? I've heard it is?
