Thought I would start here as today saw the 'offical' start of the Cossy conversion!

Done today,removed prop,tank,engine and cleaned the bay up a bit for painting.

Soon ready for a trial fit of this,all decatted an' everything!

I was hoping the Scorpio sender was going to fit my tank but no!-the sender resistance was wrong and the flange to big,so I came up with this 'hybrid'-my sender with the Scorp' pump fitted,sorted!

Watch this space.....................................(again! LOL!)

Today has been shite so I made a surround for the gear selector,just to tidy it up!:D

This is easy enough to extend as it's not got the fiddly 'T' handle and button.:p

At last I got hold of a rad!!-got it plumbed in today and the tranny cooler,just enough room to squeeze in a leccy fan I reckon!:smw:

Had her run up today but won't idle when warm,thinking it could be mixture related due to the air filter,we'll see.................

Ah!-just found out that the ECU is like the Z!-has to re-learn,so it might be a test drive tomorrow!!:D

Looks as if the idle is sorted!-fitted a Tacho today and bolted her back together!-even managed to drive round the block!-and find the speedo don't work!

heres one i done 2 years ago and then i ran out of money but me and i my mate started on his merc cossie about 6mths ago and was throwing the 2.3 away and fitting 3 door rs500 block in to it
