I managed to get the stikaflex off ok, but I'm not sure about the rust.

I can't decied about repairing the old hatch or trying to get another one.

I have got a new fibreglass spoiler so I might repair my current hatch as when the new spoiler is fitted most of the rusted area will be covered over.

I just want to clean it up as best as possible so the rust does not continue under the new spoiler.
