Hi all,

 

Just went to see what chip was in my car it is surpose to be JD chipped.

But on the outside of the ECU is say SWAT, only thing I can find out is its a jap tuning company but nothing more on searching the net.

 

ECU Looks like this:

 

Need to look at the inside to be certain.

SWAT is a Tuning shop in Japan, who would of done the mapping. There is very little info about them. It will be mapped from High octane Jap fuel.

 

Personally I would get it rechipped from Somebody like JD or AndyP.

Best bet is to find him in the members list and then you can view all the threads he has started and all the posts he has posted :)

yes, its seans old car, as I recall it runs sweet with that ECU, have you got the passenger side seat belt sorted, Sean took me for a run in it and scared the life outa me? The ECU came with the car when imported, he was doing a fault code check (came up 55) when I noticed that SWAT label. You shouldnt have any trouble with the car, I do know that Sean spent lots of time and cash on her before he sold to you.
