Just got the 99 spec and wondered what everyone considers a reasonable charge to weld up old holes, fit new spoiler and respray with Tailgate- with me removing the old spoiler! :confused:

 

So far quoted £380.00 plus VAT! :headvswal

sounds around about right if you dont know them, if you were meaning mates rates then you would probably get it done for about £200ish.

Just had my 99 spec spoiler done last week after the recent group buy.

 

Cost me £350 inc VAT

 

That was for the tailgate to be de-wipered, have all the holes welded up, respray including, T-tops and windscreen pillars. Also to have the two roof bars sprayed black.

 

I do know the guy but only as i work close to his spray shop, not done as mates rates.

Mines been done today, picking it up tmw, havent seen it yet. :hyper: I am paying £100 but thats a standard one fitted, old one removed and tailgate resprayed. Looks like mine was a bargin. It was the same bloke that done my respray tho. But he is willing to do Wow300's and Redzed's for same price too

Your job would of been a lot less as most of the labour for the above quotes is to do with welding and filling up the original holes from removing spoiler, which you dont need done.

 

My bodyshop quoted me £300 to remove spoiler and do all the welding and filling then spray tailgate and to spray and fit 99spec front bumper. But thats a Trade Quote.

Got mine back today, very pleased with it. When its stops raining and I get chance to fit the brake light will take some pics ;)
