As i was shopping in Brighton, i got Wrong turn turn 2 dvd, Next to it was a film i havent watched in years and probably never will.

American werewolf in London. I know this is bowlocks compaired to todays stuff, but i was 13 when i first watched it, scared the pants off me, 3 days later i did my first ever night carp fishing session on my own. So there i was fishing, at night, on own and with a bloody full moon too. All night i was convinced that a pair of red eyes were on the island in the lake that i was fishing too. Spent the whole night quivvering like a girl in my sleeping bag.

What i want to know is ?

What is your scariest film and why?

blair witch sh@t me up cos we used to do loads of camping (with tents and stuff) in our younger days. Watched first in a real cold empty cinema too. Shifted my arse all the way to the car when it ended

I would say The Shining got me going the most. Jack Nicholson does creepy very very well.

I Spit on Your Grave

Only because i was very young when i watched it and was traumatised when she cut the guys wedding tackle off.

they're the little shites that gang up to distract you then slice you with their talons before ripping bits off. could do with them as guard raptors for the garage :D

I was 14 and was on a school trip to France. We were in some shitty backward inbred village in middle France at 2am when the coach broke down. We were stranded.

One of the teachers said his teenage son had given him a film to watch and we coud put it on to pass the time.

We were bricking it all night! Girls were crying, lads were trying to act hard and failing, and teachers were trying to be calm.

To make it worse it was pitch black outside not a single street light and we kept hearing a strange running and banging outside.

When dawn broke we saw we were next to a cow field and it was them fookers kept running and banging into the fence!

So scary, makes me shudder now.

Blair Witch, went to see it then had to walk home on my own over a very dark path that snakes through some woods, never been so scared in all my life.

I was about 8 when i watched the fly... took me 3 days to watch it, hept turning it off, never been so fooking scared in all my life, it didnt help that my older brother kept going on about it either!!!

The origional Friday the 13th, i remember nearly hitting the roof at the end of that when the woman was in the boat at the end and it was all still and calm then Jason jumps out the water

Nightmare on elm street used to scare me

Agreed! Nothing like seeing old Freddie Kruger making mince meat of dreaming kids when you're 7/8yrs old to put the eebie jeebies in ya!!

Got to be The Changeling for me. I watched it when I was 10 and it was scarey! Yeeesh giving me shivers just thinking about it.
