exciting.

ive ran out a few times just next to a gas station and had to push a few metres down the road.

I have conked out as i parked up to a pump! Was relieved to have made it then just grab the door handle and engine goes! I was like AWESOME!!

its not funny when you have to walk for miles, me and walkin don't go in the same sentence :D

Its a VERY rare occasion when my petrol light comes on - whats the point in letting it???

Its like people putting £2 in, whats the point, your gonna have to put more in anyway

I never do on the Mondeo usually. I was rushing around like a mad ******* yesterday trying to get bits and bobs and only really paid attention until the light came on, then I was late getting somewhere and that's the result.

I never keep much fuel in the Z, never let the petrol light come on though. As I don't drive it all that much, it's no good leaving loads of high octane fuel in there to go stale, loosing ron.

LOL, thats about the only time its ever happened to me - when you're just concentrating on getting stuff done.

my zed was showing just past the red in the minus figures once, i couldnt find a station, but when i did i was so releaved, i squirted the pump for a second and just realised i had forgotten my wallet lucky for me my cars a mess and there was change everywhere.

managed to gather 1.80 together i remembered that i found a 50p in the boot when i was changing my shocks and thought il leave it there for an emergency haha.

wasnt fun paying at the counter tho. i was like..... i forgot my wallet honestly im not that poor.

haha

The Fuel light on my Daily driver 'Shitroen' is permantly on. Unless Im going on a long journey I only ever put £10 in it at a time, which does'nt turn the fuel light off.

I know I may as well fill her up, but I begrudge putting fuel in the heap of shite so smaller amounts each time seem easier to deal with

My gauge is ALWAYS under the line, lol  Only let me down twice tho :nana2:

oooo sucking up 16 years of crap at the bottom of the tank niiiiice, same as me... hay thats what fuel filters are for :)

5 miles worth of petrol left I guess.

Drove my Audi A4 on 0 miles of fuel for 5 miles to the next petrol station and sat in traffice for 10 minutes on the way, there's always a safety margin :hyper:

ive had to go into the co-op before today to buy 5L of cooking oil to get me home in my truck

LOL that must of been a stressfull traffic jam.

All depend on the car though as my Bmw 5 series would run out when the computer said I had between anywhere from 12-18 miles left (happened a few times).

had mine down to the E mark and the fuel light doesnt come on. I try to always leave it with a 1/4 tank in it tho.
