I thought the hanldling of my car was going off.

It seemed less stable at high speed.

I guessed the suspension might be a bit tired.

I bought a set of lightly used shocks and springs - adjustable KYB with eibach, 20mm drop I think from Andy Z (Auper Car Parts). He said they've only done 2000 miles.

Then I found my car had a slow puncture so that's why it felt unstable. Puncture fixed and the car feels fine now.

So - do I get the shocks fitted anyway (I guess this cost about one to two hundred quid in labour plus a camber correction kit?) or sell them on?

il fit them for ya for 80 quid ;)

Hi.

I would be interested, as my fronts are leaking  .Let me know if you do sell + how much you want. cheers.simon.

your existing shocks wont last long anyhow, you will have to replace them sooner or later so you may aswell fit them and have it done with.

15 year old shocks are more than likely to be fubard.

Absolutely...although Craig David's car is a 1999 model. Still 9 years old and worth upgrading to them though.
