Hi there I have a silver 1990 300zxTT and I've had it for 3 and a bit years doing it up a bit at a time. Not really into car clubs but found this one mentioned on a few peoples web sites and seemed very popular. I was a little disappointed at Billing though. I spoke to a few really nice and genuinely helpful owners who mentioend the 300zx club but I had the unpleasant bad timing to be close enough to listen to one of your members that seemed to have an inflated opinion of how important he is to the club and how pathetic some owners are about their cars and was stating very loudly that the 300zx club was not going to last long much longer. I didn't hear his name but he was a thin bloke with a massive ego and a big mouth. I hope he is wrong so I joined anyway. Maybe he was just drunk. I saw him walking towards his car later and put him down as a tosser and not an indication the club itself.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Thin bloke with massive ego and big mouth! Who are you?!

Best kind, m8ey.

Ego, yes, thin, no - & I wasn't there anyway!

What colour car did this twat get into and I will tell you who it was?

wellcome to the mahem man.

steve (i'm not tall or thin by the way)

and chris how are you gonna sus it by what colour car, there were loads of red ones for example and black for that matter?

hiya, welcome to the forum.

really nice and genuinely helpful owners

thats generally most of us wink.gif

seemed to have an inflated opinion of how important he is to the club

everyone is important, noone stands out above the rest of us, if they think they are more important, then they must have a petrol leak/fumes problem.... wink.gif

and how pathetic some owners are about their cars

some people have put a lot of time, effort and money into their cars and are rightly proud

and was stating very loudly that the 300zx club was not going to last long much longer

thats a shame, it means we might lose him as a member...

else it must be a different club wink.gif

As I don't know this guy from Adam, it was a pretty ugly white one, certainly not one that had had a lot of TLC on it. And considering the size of his ego and the amount he used his mouth about some of the other cars I expected it to have been a really good example. I suppose he must have been just a little bitter at the fact that there was so many really really good ones there. Anyway to put this into perspective I must have chatted to 10+ owners and only one of them was unhappy so the 300zx club can't be that bad, can it?

Are there any more 300zx meetings coming up soon, I would like to get together with you all again soon.

Regards

Mike smile.gif

John, shame we didn't get to meet - could have sorted out our differences....

Didn't have my car there though, so couldn't have been me....

Some pot calling kettle goin on too.... Pretty ugly white one - is that not in the same vein as this guy was talking??? What was he wearing?

CheerZ as ever,

Andy

Also a new member, had my Silver ZX TT for 5 months.

Have to say everybody was really useful at the meet.. can't remember the name of the guy, but you were telling me about having my plates done by Carnoisseur in bedford.. having them done this week!

Careful you don't buy one of those 300zx 'skip' editions with scratched leather and stuff !

As well as talking to yourself and beating yourself off you have now all resorted to posting to yourself on the forum too!
