Ok so outside the station at Ealing Broadway 1 rose = £3.50 :shock:

 

The traditional 12 = £42 !!!!!!!, so i got 1, lol. Anyone beat that ???

£4.5 a rose, just had 12 built into a bouquet with some fancy flowers and what looked to me like long grass...

they keep delivering them to work, there must be a good few hundred pounds worth scattered about!!

(even more of a cynic alert)

 

Look at the price of cards. £7 for a piece of bloody cardboard!! I cant beleive people pay it to be honest with you!

I think Valentines day is a good idea, gives people a kick up the arse to show some appreciation and do something nice, i know it costs but doing it on the day makes it special!!

i just popped into tescos and got 12 roses for less than a fiver... also bought all the ingredients for dinner, a dvd she wanted, a card, some chocolates and i still have change from 15 quid! :dance:

I can assure you £3.50 is just the first installment. That rose could endup costing you 100's of £1000's. If she love you she'll be happy with what ever you want to give. If she expects then she don't deserve and you should be getting the hell out of there.

lol, this isn't the trixy Italian anymore so this one definately doesn't expect anything. But yes in the long run this rose will probably cause poverty, heart ache and pain :wack:

a new mop and bucket and as its valintines day ile be the first to use it ;)

and anyway flowers look so much better in the ground where intended
