I know ages ago I suggested this or a MK2 Laguna rear wiper. Then Apache went out and fitted one, it looked good.

I've just emailed someone breaking one of these in order to get a rear wiper arm. Just wondering if any one's tried it yet.

You had it RR'd yet? Think I told you that I considered putting the Activa turbo engine in my ZX 16v. Standard they are only about 170bhp which was only about 3bhp more than the stock ZX 16v lump.

What's it pushing out now then at 1bar? 200bhp?

Std they are 150bhp but its now about 180bhp, dont really want more than that on FWD. Best thing about them is the way they corner with the Activa anti-lean suspension.

Whats that got to do with primera wiper arms????????

Doesn't have adaptive damping in it? Like an early version of it?

Hey dont go off subject Andy

It does they have several verions of the Hydralic suspension on the activa. The std 5 Sphere system, the 6 sphere with Anti-Sink, The 8 Sphere with sport mode anti damper and anti sink and the 10 sphere activa with the anti-lean, sportmode/anti damp/Anti Dive and and anti sink. Lots of anti's lol. Basically my car can no keep with civic type r's on the straight and out corner them. :)

I would like to drive one actually. One of Citroen's saving graces were the ride..well in some of them anyway. My ZX 16v was fantastic. Basically the same as the 306 GTi-6. Great fun to drive. Was very responsive and very chuckable. Passive rear wheel steering which work in a similar to way scateboard trucks. lol

No. But doesn't mean to say I don't like dump valves though. ;)

My Xantia does'nt ride or handle any better than the 406 I had before it (which is a good comparison as they use the same chassis) despite its hydropneumatic suspension. Seems a bit pointless unless you have the Fancy Activa model.

They have the same floorpan Dave from memory, all the suspension/arms/rods/rack are completely different. Chassis rails are different to accommodate this.

ok, yeh I imagine most of that is to accomdate the hydropneumatic setup with its adjustable height, such as how the handbrake is on the front wheels (no fun!) but for all the complexity its just not worth it. Lots more to go wrong and no ride or handling improvement (excluding activa) - just so I can make it go up and down to amuse myself when Im bored LOL

They are not that expensive when they go wrong. If the fluid is checked then it should be pretty good. Accumulators and spheres are so cheap now. Cheaper than replacing a set of tired shocks in a conventional car.

I find the suspension quite amusing. I bought a crappy old Citroen BX TZD for £75 about 5 years ago as a daily hack to commute over the Mendips every day. Lasted well. But decided to replace it as it had some strange coolant problems. Before I blew the engine up in spectacular fashion, I'd go speed hump jumping. No need to go fast, 20mph is good, set the suspension on hard (up fully) and drive straight at speed-humps. Used to bounce and jump up in the air. Was really funny.

I don't slag people off and abuse them, that's where the difference is. I dislike certain modifications, I certainly won't poke fun and get personal with someone on the forum.

Ghey.

Litter of the highest proportions. Absolute tat! If you wanna be a chav, go for it. You pull it out of the same bin as quad-look headlight covers, cheque plate floor mats, cherry bomb exhausts and lexus lights.

They really are shite and can't believe that this trash has found its way over to the Z scene. I know they fit them on the Evos to create a vortex. But that's due to the shape of the car. The long gradual curve of the Z will mean it's totally ineffective as well as shite looking.

Si you really do need to calm down just because you dont like things that people choose to fit.No need for the above post just say you dont like it if you really have to but why call him a Chav because he wants to fit it.

I am closing this thread because its starting to get silly.
