I dont believe any of our traders have ever supplied genunie strosek kits. Your best bet would be to speak to Strosek themselves (btw - Very expensive compared to the Various copies out there)

quality is also 10 times better then any of the copies out there...

if you've ever seen the real kit versus a copy you know what I'm talking about.

Any idea how much a genuine kit will be? If have spoken to my local bodyshop and they wont fit a copy kit, apparently there is too much risk of distortion when its being painted.

Yep besides having a finish as smooth as Lake Windermere at a Jet ski tornement the copies also never follow the proper lines of the wheel arches, are more dramaticly bulbus, need 5 x 5ltr of plastic putty to sort of fit and generally look pants.

I say I don't like the Strosek kit, because most people in the UK are actually talking about the various (I use the word lossely) copies which from the shape of them are copies of a Paul Bailey copy rather than the genuine Strosek.

The real deal is far more subtle in shape, realy do think the bumpers are well dated these days.

Yes I have and 100% agree with you. I meant it as a bit of a pre-warning before seeing prices.

this the latest pricelist I got from Strosek

(prices are in Euros)

Hi Eric

Are the Arches priced there SWB or 2+2? (don't know why and I'm proberbly wrong but i thought Strosek only made wide arches for SWB)

Also they are much cheeper than they used to be

I would have expected "Europe version" to be LWB, and "US version" to be SWB..

correct

correct

Execelant! Thats another nugget of information for me to store and get mixed up in future..

the basic kit of bumpers front and rear and wide arch wings/sills comes to eur3075 - but thats without VAT, now I don't know if it's calculated at 17.5% but if it is, thats eur3613 or £2685 without shipping or fitting and painting.

I'd say that is quite an expensive kit....

Who'd want the Strosek bumpers though

Seeing the real kit in the flesh is pure sex and knocks any copy for six!

I think strosek had an offer on a while ago, take the car to them in germany and get the whole kit fitted and painted for £7k, don't forget there is no VAT to pay as it is in europe!
