the wheels have already been trial tested on the rear, and all is ok. the vents will be blocked off if i really dont like them, trust me. it wont cost me much at all. the bodyshop has jobs piling up with the amount of time thats had to be spent on mine, but all will end well in the end. :)

aggree if you start throwing extras at them in this stage of the game then there going to compromise quality on the main job to get back on schedule if they have jobs waiting to come in,imho this is where peeps go wrong with body shops as the job goes on they start going in and adding more work which makes the owners start canceling other work that was booked in and the pleasantrys stop and you just become a bleedin nuisence to them

Then get it done. :duffer:

Christ reading though this thread, I'm confused as to who's zed this is! Cos every other fooker and his mum seems to be telling the owner what he should and shouldn't be doing with it.

Its your car bud have it the way you want it! If FingleButSi wants the vents removed tell him to fookin' well pay for it!

I think its looks wicked, love the lights, the vents, the wheels and everything else. Cant wait to see it done!

soz couldnt be arsed reading through all this, but ill wait for the finished article lol i know the before so i await for the after with great anticipation.

and as Takemetothepub says, you know your own mind and have decent taste so fook what anyone else reccomends

I was i had loads of money to throw at my bucket!!

They are real nice wheels Mario. The wheel refurbisher you spoke to. Can they do split rims and do they polish the rims or dimond cut them?

right. had a call from the wheels refurbishers above, and what a suprise, the dish is too deep and dont want to touch them. i then got in contact with another company who quoted me £1050 + vat, they send them to germany to be done with a 10 day turnaround but basically slagged every other refurbisher off saying they would bodge them, this put me off as i dont like businesses that slag others off when they probably dont even know them. anyway, i tried this place, http://www.wheelmedic.co.uk/ , which sounds very promising. having spoke to the guy, he seemed very sure he could do them with a positive attitude without reeling a load of BS off, but to be 100% sure would need to see them first, so hes going to call me to arrange for me to pop over to HULL with them. will keep you updated.

markzx : he will be polishing mine but by the sounds of it he does diamond cut as well.
